I parked my car by the side of the woods, where the large limp branches and leaves hid my vehicle perfectly. The familiarity of salt water hit my nose and I relish in the comforting scent.
The Rock was an isolated place that I decided to brand myself. It was a small area that was overpopulated by trees and overlooked the sea. Not many visitors has yet discovered the heavenly spot and I was thankful. It was the perfect place to sit and think.
I took in the low bristling of the mossy green leaves, lightly swaying against one another, as if they were saying 'hi'. And I took in the way the cloudy white sky peaks through the trees. The way a calmness washes over my body as another breeze tickles pass. Finally unraveling, I let go of any previous tension and smiled.
This was my real home.
