Chapter 61 | study up

Reader POV

I sat beside Hiccup with my hand in his, psyching myself up to open the book of shadows again.

I gripped the cover tightly and slammed it open.

I let out a sigh of relief as nothing happened.

"Oh thank Thor" I said.

I skimmed through the pages trying to dodge moonbeams presence above the turning pages.

"There!" She exclaimed.

I stopped and listened as Hiccup read the page out loud.

"Dragon Hybrids often come with dragon like powers and vision, over time, they form scales over their arms, legs and the bridge of their nose" he said while tapping the scales on my nose at the end.

"They're perfectly normal but can be stopped by over-using the vision power, no one is quite sure why, but it works non the less" I added.

"Well that answers that" Hiccup said.

"Is there anything about starshocks tail?" Moonbeam asked.

I flipped though the pages and looked for anything along those lines.

"Nothing" I sighed.

"damn it, well at least we have some information" Hiccup said.

"We better keep this we might need it later" I said.

I got up and put it on the bookshelf.

"Now what?"

Hiccup suddenly had a smirk on his face.

"Oh Thor" I said.

I was taken to the ground and tickled.

I laughed and squirmed, thrashing myself everywhere trying to break free but I just couldn't.

"HICCUP ST-HAHAH-mrph"

My lips were suddenly locked with his.
I kissed back, at least this stops the ticketing.

My arms we're pinned to the ground and my eyes were closed enjoying the moment.

We broke the kiss and I pulled my phone out of my pocket to see a messages from (c/n).

I unlocked it and saw a picture attached to a message reading/ (ship name) fanfics are starting.

I tapped on the image and read the passage, it was some cute fluff.

Suddenly I got another message.

I tapped on the image and instantly regretted it.

"AH KILL IT!" I screamed throwing my  phone across the room.

"I'm never going to get that out of my head"

"What?" Hiccup asked.
