Chapter 28 | new additions to the group

Reader POV

"Seriously?" I whispered.

"We better confront them" Hiccup whispered back.

We stepped out if our hiding place and Hiccup put me down.

"Why are you here?" Hiccup said.

They jumped and turned around.

"Because this idiot lost our dragon!" Tuffnut said.

"YOU WERE ONE ONE THAT LOST THEM!" Ruffnut yelled back.

"If you don't quiet down your heads are coming off" I threatened, trying not to collapse in pain because of my back.

"And we're also looking for Hiccup Haddock" they added.

Hiccup looked at me with a 'just-great' look.

He took off his helmet.

"You mean me" he said.

"Woah if you're here that means-" Ruffnut.

"The girl with the dragon wings is here" I said taking off my cloak. The pain was becoming unbearable now.

"What'll it take for you to keep your mouths shut" Hiccup said.

"Find our dragon, and give us something to do, it's boring on Berk now that dragon trainings been canceled" Tuffnut said.

"Deal" Hiccup said.

Thats it I can't bare it.

I fell to my knees and choked back tears.

"(Y/n)!" Hiccup said dropping next to me.

"My back" I said in a small voice.

"Come on" Hiccup said picking me up bridal style.

"And you two have some explaining to do" he added pointing to the twins.

We made our way back to the house my head up against Hiccup the whole time.

We went inside and put me down on the coffee table.

He quickly ran upstairs and got the others.

"You interrogate the twins, I'll make sure (y/n)s back is ok" he said dragging the others downstairs.

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO MUTTONHEADS DOING HERE!" Astrid yelled.

Hiccup ran over.

"How painful?" He asked.

"Very" I said.

I hugged him tightly.

"Please don't tell me how bad it is" I said.

"I won't" Hiccup said kissing my forehead "come on I'll get you to bed, you need your rest"

Hiccup picked me up and took me to his room.

He put me down and gave me a jacket, it gets cold in here.

I tried to put it on but I couldn't move my arms out straight without my back hurting.

He sat in front of me and put the jacket around my back.

He pulled my arms though the sleeves and pulled my wings though the holes at the back before buttoning it up.

"Thanks" I said.

"No problem milady" he said.

He got up and went to leave.

"I'll be back as soon as I finish talking to the twins" he said.

I nodded and he left.

I lay down and put my head on his pillow.

It smelt like him.

Man I love him.
