We were in Medical for a couple of days and Jake hadn't been found. We were getting restless being locked up in Medical all day and we wanted to get out and wander for a little bit.
Johnny and Ryan refused.
Jake was dangerous and he could potentially kill us. That was always their reason. So we stayed in Medical for days on end. Meals were brought to us but that was the only good thing we ever got.
More days passed and Jake still had not been found. Johnny tired to give us updates. They were all lies and he knew I knew. He told us that they had almost gotten him, or they spotted him for a split second, but soon disappeared. Throughout telling us this, though, one question buried itself into Johnny's mind.
Where could Jake have gone?
A week passed.
Two weeks.
Three weeks.
Four weeks.
Five weeks in all.
They were ready to give up, or at least give us some freedom, when they spotted him for real.
Guards stampeded after him, but Jake was too quick. He disappeared again.
He was nowhere to be found.
And we were still locked up in Medical.
