He sighs, the same old stuff. What is Josh talking about? He turns back to Josh. More angry than before

'Careful about what?'

Jennifer knows Colin's going to snap soon, her heart is racing.

'Look I took this earlier.'

Colin looks at the image depicted on Josh's phone, his eyes scanning it. Nothing out of the ordinary.

'And?'

'Colin, stop being blind to it. This looks bad, your hand is on her hip.'

Colin tunes out of the conversation, nothing was going on and he knows that. They was just having friendly banter...

Yes that's right friendly Colin rejustified himself.

'Imagine if a fan took this.'

He stops. Jen too realises the way they've been around each other is wrong. Not to them, to the public eye.

Jen thought as Colin said those exact words aloud. She smiled a little, how could she be so connected to someone.

'I know that Colin.'

'I love her. I do love her.'

'I know you love Helen.'

Colin raises his lip a little. In slight agreement, he has to get back behind the line of friendship with Jen and learn to stay there. Slowly he sits back on the couch.

'Colin, there's more isn't there?'

'I love Helen, Josh I do...'

'But?'

'I slept with Jennifer...'

There was a moment of utter silence, nothing moved. Colin intensely watched Josh blinking, maybe he should of kept his mouth shut... He had to tell someone, he couldn't talk to Jen about it.. She was his distraction remember...

Jen, remaining still felt a sudden awkwardness come across her. She felt like a bug on the wall listening in, she felt wrong for eavesdropping...
I mean it isn't my fault I'm here?

'When?'

Colin hesitates.
'The day before Helen visited.'

He was suddenly washed with guilt. He's cheated on his wife.. That's not who colin was, he'd never cheat on her... It was Jen, something about Jen made him feel as though what he'd done was expectable.

'Colin. Why?'

'I'd argued with Helen.. I was confused.. Jen was the only one I thought of and one thing lead to another..'

'So she was a distraction?'
