As soon as she looked into my eyes, I was lost in her and even she was in a daze. I started speaking again....."nandu.....star....please sorry na.....you know na tum jab bhi mujhse gussa hoti ho to main kitna guilty feel karta hu....you know right ki I can't stay without talking to you....please apne iss monster manik ko maaf kardo!" I pleaded making a puppy face once again but she was yet too stubborn.

"I know I am very bad na isliye I'm telling you sorry....dil se" I said again and she turned my side......finally! But what she said next swept the floor beneath me "OK if you want ki main tumhe maaf kar du to tumhe 20 sit ups karna padega" "what!" "Tum mere liya itna bhi nahi karoge?" She asked me sadly with her signature pout on. I was left with no option but to do whatever she said so I started doing sit ups. "1.....2......3...." She was laughing and clapping her hands like a small baby seeing my condition. I just hope no one sees me like this or they will surely make fun of me. I had reached five when she kneeled down in front of me and stopped me from continuing my punishment any further. Thank god! "Manik rehne do....kyuki main bhul gayi ki maine tumhe punishment kyu di and that will be unfair to you na....isliye ise rehne do" she said cutely. "To matlab tumne mujhe maaf kar diya?" "Ummmm.....ha!" She said smiling and I smiled back. "Vaise nandini tum mujhe kya bolne wali thi?" I asked her. "Main........." She trailed off keeping a finger under her chin as if she was thinking real deep. I giggled at her childish antique and she stared at me sharply in return. I straightened at once. "Ha mujhe yaad aa gaya.....yayy!!" She started dancing and jumping up and down in joy. "Main bol rhi thi ki manik its so hot na here?" She asked and I cringes my brows. "That it?" "Yup" she replied popping the 'p'. I looked at her as if she was some alien but she was smiling continuously as if she has achieved something great and big. Suddenly she started moving outside and slide the glass door shut on my face not letting me follow her out. "Nandini andar aao....ya fir open the door and let me come that side" I said to her in an authoritative tone but we should not forget....she's nandini murthy who is the most stubborn creature on this planet. "Nahi!" "Kyu?" I asked. "Because kya tumhe bhi wahi feeling ho rahi hair jo mujhe ho rahi hai?" She questioned and I once again stared at her in the eye getting lost in them. She definitely had some magic in them.

"Tumhe kya feel ho raha hai nandu?" My voice came out huskier than I intended. "Mujhe feel ho raha hai ki...." Even her tone got huskier. She was burning holes in my soul by her intense gaze. Gosh! Why does she affect me so effin much!? Bloody why??? WHY!? I questioned myself to which I knew there were no answers at present but I promise myself, I'll soon find them. Manik focus! You are zoning out! My Brain yelled at me and for once I agreed to it. I shifted my gaze towards nandu to see her hands struggling in her back.....I was confused. "Aghghhh!!" She cribbed like a baby but what was she......" Oh sh!t" I mumbled and scurried towards her. She was trying to unzip her dress. She had reached almost halfway and would have completely taken it off if I would not have stopped her and zipped it again. As my cold hands touched her bare back, shivers ran down my spine and she closed her eyes, her breath hitched feeling our proximity. I really affect her! When she realised what had I done she whined "ughgh manik its so hot" "nandini chalo tum meri car me baith jao....I'll on the ac" I said. She thought for a while and then replied with a million dollar smile "smart huh....tum itne smart lagte nahi ho but still you are smart!" She said an my jaw practically touched the floor at her mocking remark.

"Chalo na! Ac.......thanda thanda....chalo!!" She said tugging my arm. I slapped my forehead. She definitely needs something to reduce the effect of the hard drink she's had before she does something more stupid.
