"Auntie, we going with him?" Jaylen asked.

"Yeah." I told him and he nodded.

I grabbed his chin and looked into his eyes. "Is that okay with you?"

He smiled. "Yeah auntie."

I could tell by his body language he was okay. He didn't feel in harms way which is exactly how I want him to always feel.

"Good. Give your favorite auntie a kiss."

"You my only auntie." He laughed after kissing me.

"I know." I told him.

"My tio is the best though." He smiled wildly.

Dre is Puetro Rican and African American so Jay usually refers to his Spanish side in Spanish and his American side in English.

"How?"

"He takes me to baseball games."

"I could do that!" I told him.

"But it's kind of a guy thing." Brandon intruded.

"Yeah, I agree." Jaylen said and I glared at Brandon.

"So you like baseball?" Brandon asked

"Yes I do. It's my favorite."

"I thought basketball was."

"I have too many favorites." He laughed covering his face.

I laughed too." You do."

"Where we going?" I asked.

"To a restaurant. I had reservations for you and I. When you went to sign him out of school, I changed it to three."

"Okay cool." I said and sat back in my seat. We all were quiet, and both Brandon and Jaylen were comfortable.

Once we got to the restaurant, I grabbed my wallet and went to go to grab Jaylen but Brandon had already gotten him out, and holding his hand.

I quickly went over and grabbed Jaylens other hand. Just in case.

"This restaurant?" I asked Brandon.

He nodded "yup."

I looked up at the restaurant and knew this wouldn't go over well, this being a restaurant where business people go and meet for lunch meetings. I know for sure they won't have anything for Jaylen to eat.

"I don't think eating here is a good idea." I said.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"Because, they don't have a kids menu and its dry." I said.

"But this is the most romantic-"

I staked faced him and he nodded.

"Well then I don't know." He said as we turned around.

"How about SkyZone!" Jaylen said

"I dont think thats a good idea." i said.

"But auntie!" he whined.

"If that's what he wants then fine." Brandon said smiling.

Jaylen of course, got excited and I wasn't about to let him down.

I wonder if he knows how ridiculous he will look jumping up and down with his huge self.
