22. Picknick

Troye's PoV:

I organised a picknick for Connor in the park for when he was done with working.
It was over 3pm so I texted him saying he should come to my apartment after work.

"Hey troye !"
Connor said when I opened the door.
"Connieee, are you ready to go ?"
I smirked and Connor looked VERY
Confused at me.
"Ready to go where ?!"
I laughed and grabbed Connor's hand.

We were walking in the park and I saw a great place under a tree and told Connor to follow me.
I checked if it was good enough,
It was perfect.
I put my backpack on the grass and started preparing the picknick.
"Troye"
Connor said while I was unpacking.
"Troye !"
He touched my shoulder to get my attention.
"What wrong ?" I asked him.
"You're an angel"
he said while looking at the picknick
and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
" I know "
I said and Connor rolled his eyes.

After eating sandwiches and lots of donuts we just layed down staring at the blue sky.
Connor and I were holding hands and this all felt so surreal.

"Troye"
Connor whisperd.
"Yes love ?"
"I'm so happy."
My heart melted when he said that.
I want him to be happy, thats all I ever wanted.
"This part of my life, this little part, is called 'happiness'."
He said and looked at me.
His eyes were sparkling and he smiled.
"This all feels like a dream." I said.
"Yeah it's unreal wow"
I sighed.
"But when you dream, you have to wake up one day."
I looked at Connor and his smile was gone.
"Hey hey Connah, sorry about that ! Let's just stay positive okay ?"
I said and held his hand tight.

Connor found some nail polish in my backpack so I painted his nails baby blue and it looked SOOO good on him oh my god.
Connor's mom texted him that he had to go home so we packed and left.

I was home alone and very bored so I called Halsey to ask her to come over.
Ofcourse she said yes and was at my apartment in 3 seconds.

We were eating pizza that we ordered while we were writing the rest of the song.
It was almost finished but I still didn't know what the tittle should be.
But I'll find it eventually.
"So troye, is this song about someone ?"
She asked me and smirked.
"Shut the fuck up Halsey !"
I threw a pillow at her and she stook her tongue out.
"You'll see, you'll see"
I said and we finished out pizza.
