"I won't let that happen." Isaiah sternly said. "You can't... You can't be arranged, Blair. That would be the death of me."

"Isaiah, please calm down." I tried to calm him down.

"How can I calm down, Blair?" he looked at me, so frustrated. "I'm trying so hard just to get you; just to make you finally say yes, but here comes this guy who can get you without even doing a single thing. Now tell me how to calm down, Blair, because I can't."

I hate seeing Isaiah being frustrated. There's just this look in his eyes whenever his frustrated that you just wanted to take all those frustrations away.

Hindi pa kaming dalawa pero alam mo yung kahit wala kaming label ay ramdam mong mayroon kang commitment kahit wala? That you have compromise even though there's nothing to hold on; even though there's no reason for you to compromise.

To be honest, I don't know what's keeping me from being with him. Is it my unsure feelings, his celebrity status? I don't know.

I just want to take things slow while I'm trying to figure everything. I don't want to ensure Isaiah with shallow love I have right. If I'm going to give him my assurance, I want my love to be fierce. But right now, my attention and care are all that I can give him... for now.

"Look, Isaiah, it's not yet fixed." paglilinaw ko sa kaniya. "Dad's just asking me if I can date Gael. That's all!"

"Blair, doon din pupunta 'yon." giit niya.

Tinignan ko naman si Ida na ngayon ay hindi alam kung paano siya sisingit sa aming dalawa ni Isaiah.

This is her fault. Ang ingay niya kasi.

"That's it, Blair!" he stated at tumayo sa kaniyang kinauupuan. "I can't wait anymore. I'm going to make a move."

My forehead creased. "What are you planning to do?"

"If he will not fight fairly, then I still will. I'm going all in, Blair. Wala na akong pakealam kung ano ang sasabihin ng iba. I'm going to get you whatever it takes." sabi niya't mabilis na umalis ng kwarto ni Ida.

"Now, that's my brother..." Ida suddenly commented at matalim ko naman siyang tinignan na nagpatigil sa kaniya.

I stayed at the Mallari's until ten in the evening. Even if I wanted to stay for tonight, I know that I can't because we're still going to Lolo's grave tomorrow. I maybe angry but I know how to pay respect.

"You're going home?"

Halos malaglag ako sa hagdanan nang hindi ko mapansing kasalubong ko pala si Isaiah.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Isaiah shouted in worriedness.

Maagap niya namang nahawakan ang braso ko't mabilis niyang nabalik sa balanse ang aking katawan.

"Be careful..." malambing niyang sabi sa akin bago binitawan ang aking braso.

"I'm sorry. Nagulat ako sa'yo." I reasoned out.

"Didn't mean to startle you. I'm sorry din." he apologized.

He bit his lower lip and averted his eyes away from me. He took a deep breathe like he's gaining some strength just to talk to me before he looked at me with a smile.

"Anyway, ihahatid na kita sa inyo." he stated. "It's already ten o' clock in the evening."

"I brought my car with me, so..." umiling ako.

"Then we'll convoy. I can't just let you go home alone." he said.

I just nodded and gave him a smile.
