"Please, doktora. Yes. At the same hospital. She's at the emergency room." rinig kong sabi ni Vini habang gamit-gamit ang aking cellphone upang matawagan ang ob ko.
Pagkatapos ng tawag ay kinuha naman ni Vini ang kaniyang cellphone upang may tawagan ulit.
Napakunot naman ang noo ko't sinubukan ko namang tumagilid habang nakahiga sa mga hospital bed dito sa emergency room upang makita ang puwetan ko upang makita kung may dugo nga.
Yes, there's blood pero imposible... It's impossible that I'm pregnant if Vini thought that I'm having miscarriage because I can't feel any pain.
"Miss, what date is it today?" I asked the nurse who was taking my blood pressure beside me.
She stared at me for a second bago niya tinignan ang phone niya na mukhang nakakalimutan din kung ano ng petsa ngayong araw.
"18 po, Monday." she answered me with a smile.
Napaawang naman ang aking bibig... It's the third week of the month. It's the start of my period. I'm not pregnant. I'm not...
"What room did they put Daddy?" rinig kong tanong ni Vini sa kausap niya sa phone nang nilingon ko siya.
And again... another disappointment will come along our way.
"Okay..." Vini sighed. "Bella's fine, I think. She's lying down. The nurse's taking care of her. Her ob's on her way here."
Inalis ko naman ang tingin ko sa kaniya nang makita ko ang pagbabalak niyang lumingon sa akin.
"Wala ka naman pong nararamdaman sakit diba?" the nurse who took my blood pressure asked me.
Umiling ako. "Wala."
Kapag nagkakaroon ako ay hindi ako nakakaranas ng pananakit ng puson kagaya ng iba. Parang normal na araw lang sa akin kapag meron ako.
"Hintayin pa rin po natin yung ob niyo para makasigurado. But for now, we won't make any actions, it might seem like a miscarriage pero baka po period niyo na. Tama po ba?" sabi niya.
I nodded. "It's my time of the month." sabi ko.
She smiled at me. "It's still possible po. Don't worry." she assured me but I don't what that assurance was for.
I was about to ask her what she meant when I saw my ob arriving na agad namang sinalubong ni Vini.
"Mr. Sarmiento." nakangiting bati ni doktora kay Vini bago lumingon sa akin at lumapit. "Hi, Bella."
"Hello po, doktora." I greeted her with a slight smile.
"Can you please turn side view for a sec?" she asked and I did what she said. "Bleeding, huh?" she smiled at me.
"Doktora, I'm sorry for the disturbance but I think I'm just on my period po." paghingi ko agad ng paumanhin dahil naabala pa namin siya ni Vini.
"Bella..." Vini called me to stop but that's the truth.
I'm just on my period kaya may bakas ng dugo sa puwetan ko.
"It's my time of the month po. I'm just having menstruation." I said.
"Hmm... Menstruation you say?" nakangising sabi ni doktora sa akin.
"O-Opo..." nag-aalangan kong sagot.
Nilingon naman ni doktora ang nurse na kanina ko pa kasama.
"Can you get a pregnancy test kit?" she asked the nurse.
