(JAYDEN'S P.O.V)

I roamed about my house like a ghost...wait wasn't that what I'm actually doing? And I  smiled at my joke.

Seriously, I know that I've been saying this a lot but really, nothing much had changed, except the fact that the entire house was stripped off of every single thing that once indicated my existence.

I remembered what Henry had told me before.

'Miss Angelica was too shocked by your death that she felt, well if I must put it in a way; guilty. Miss Jessica does not know about you at all. It is forbidden to speak about you in this house. In fact, Jessica must under no circumstances ever find out about you'.

The grip on the key in my palm increased until it pricked me, but the pain it caused was nothing compared to the pain that I had inside now at the moment.

Jessica did not remember me.

I used the key to open the door to the third floor; my floor. It looked completely abandoned. Our mansion had three floors excluding the attic and the ground floor. The ground floor was where the kitchen, parlors, dens, library, and study were. The first floor was Mom and Dad's offices including our own mini theatre. The second floor was Mom and Dad's including Jessica's nursery back then. The third floor was mine, entirely mine.

All my friends from school loved to hang out at my place. It had a gym, a recreation room and my every own private library. My room was to the far east, I could see the entire estate from my room which was breathtaking at sunrise.

As I inspected the rooms, everything seemed to be left just the way it was the night I died. I opened the library and I sighed as I entered. It was my refuge back then but not because of the books. It was because of the secret room I had in here.

All I had to do was tilt the gargoyle shaped pedestal and the stone wall would move. Inside was a small room where about twenty people could stand. I had it built just for me during my sophomore year.

It had gothic-looking arches and towards the far east was a large wooden cross. A resurrected cross to be precise. I had managed to set some chandeliers in here as well. The floor was made of polished wood and a fur carpet adorned it. This was the place I came to when I wanted to escape the world outside. This room according to me was the most beautiful place in the mansion and I had wanted Jessica to know about this but I had never gotten the chance.

Maybe I can now.

Maybe I can change her.
