The rain fell hard and it seemed as if nothing could stop it. The dark and cloudy sky was just making the day even gloomier and hopeless. Jessica would not stop crying and she refused to be comforted by her mother.

'Why is everything so dark? Why is everyone so sad?', wondered the child, but even more than that, where was her brother?

She could see him lying in front of her but he wasn't smiling anymore, his eyes were closed and his face looked funny. This person looked like her brother but why wasn't he responding to her cries like before?

Angelica felt lifeless as she clutched her heart crying, 'What have I done?!', she wailed.

'My son! My dear Jayden! I am so sorry!', she wailed as she watched them lower him into the ground. Robert Walls looked like his very soul had been ripped out of himself and for the very first time after the divorce; he put an arm around his wife.

Angelica didn't even protest. She couldn't bear to even look at Jessica, she felt like she had betrayed her by taking away her brother. Angelica sobbed even more. She had lost her son and nothing could ever make her feel better again.

All those years of abandoning him but still he had loved her...Angelica sank to the ground with Jessica in her arms and she tried to comfort her but Jessica did not want her. She wanted Jayden, she wanted her brother.

Jessica realized that her cries were useless and everything just seemed to be scaring her now. A single word twisted inside her mouth and it with a final struggle, it came out,

'JAYDEN!!', cried Jessica and everyone looked at the child.

Angelica stopped crying and she stared at her.

Jessica's first word.

But the person who she was calling out was gone...Gone forever.

Angelica cried out in pain and agony. 'What have I done?!', she cried and let out a scream that Robert had to get down and hold her so that she wouldn't pass out.

Jessica kept on calling out her brother's name until she heard a voice,

'Hush Jess...I am here'.

She stopped crying almost immediately and looked around to find her brother's smiling face but all she found was sadness and so she continued to cry.
