Dan giggled and hugged Phil again, so he could hide his blushing face.
"I'm so happy to see you, Phil."
"So am I and I'm glad to see that you are alright after that...thing with your Dad"
"Oh ehm yeah he was drunk and he apologized so it's fine. Let's just forget that happened and have a nice day!"
"That sounds great!"
Phil saw that Dan was trembeling.
"Are you cold?"
"Just a little bit but it's fine"
"There is a Starbucks around the corner if you want to, we can go there"
"Yeah lets do that"
Without thinking it over, Phil grabbed the other boys hand and interwined their fingers.
Dan could feel his face getting hot and red, he tried to hide it but he couldn't hold back the huge grin that was growing on his face.
His hand was tickling and his stomache felt like thousand of fireworks were exploding in it.
He was genuely happy.
