Chapter 14

IM POV

"IM, you dont have to walk me home anymore. Thank you for always helping me." Nayeon smiled.

"O-okay." My heart suddenly skipped a beat. What was that?

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Ye." I continued cleaning up my things on my desk.

"Bye." She said.

I just waved at her. I paused for a moment. What was that just now? I touched my chest to feel my heart. It was beating fast.

She just smiled at me.

Well she's pretty but I dont think she's my type. Tbh.

I just shook my head and headed to the locker room.

I changed into my jerseys and went to the court.

"Okay so today we will do drills and practice passing. During the practice game yesterday that seem to be one of your weakness. Let's polish it before the tournament." Kihyun hyung said.

I remembered what he said yesterday with Nayeon being his responsibility.

Does he like Nayeon?

"IM. Did you hear what I just said?" Kihyun hyung called me.

"I'm sorry."

"I said, you team up with Shownu hyung and Hyungwon."

"Ah ye." I nodded.

"Ya, are you okay?" Wonho Hyung tapped my shoulder.

"Ne. I'm fine." I just nodded.

The practice started. I was kinda feeling uncomfortable. I kept on losing the ball and i cant score a single point.

"Ya IM! What's wrong with you?!" Hyungwon hyung got angry. He's out of breath.

I'm also out of breath.

"We are out of breath because of chasing the ball you're losing!" Hyungwon hyung added.

"I'm sorry." Was all i could say.

"IM just rest for today. With you not focusing cannot help the team." Kihyun hyung said.

"No. I'm okay." I protested.

"You're clearly not focused." Shownu hyung added.

I sighed.

"I'm so sorry guys. I'll be fine tomorrow."

I headed back to the locker room and changed into my uniform.

I went home and laid down my bed.

Kihyun POV

Before i went home, i went to the supermarket to buy what my mom told me to.

As i was searching, i recieved a call.

Nayeon?

"Is this hyunnie?"

"Hyu.. what?"

The person on the other line isn't Nayeon.

"Your girlfriend fainted and was brought here at the hospital."

Girlfriend?

Wait.. what?!

"She what?!! What hospital is this?"

"Shinchon"

"I'll be right there!"

IM Pov

I tried calling Nayeon a few times but she isn't picking up. I wanted to check if she went home safe and if she wanted to have coffee with me.

After a few attempts, finally she answered.

"Nayeon—"

"Is this her friend?"

What? It's Nayeon's number, right?

"Uh, ne. Who is this?"

"I'm a nurse from Shinchon. She fainted and—"

I grabbed my jacket and ran out of my room.

"Ya Chankyun! Where are you going?!" My mom asked.

"Hospital. I'll call you later!"

I rushed out and took a taxi. Damn.

What happened to her?
