SPECIAL CHAPTER 1

I made sure I look intimidating when I turned my back to face her. But I didn't expect what happened next.

She fell on the floor.

I almost ran to help her up but I didn't. She should understand that I dominate here.

"What the hell are you doing there?" I asked trying to sound intimidating. Thanks heavens I didn't stutter. I almost lost my senses when she lift her face. Nakita ko tuloy ang napakaganda at napakaamo niyang mukha. Damn!

"A-ah... Eh.. Hehe. Pinulot ko lang po ang panga ko, nalaglag eh," she answered out of the blue. Her voice even sounds like an angel.

"What?" I know my brows are creased right now.

"A-ah.. Eh. Kwan... A-ah... Nakipagbeso po ako sa carpeted floor, wini-welcome niya po ako eh. Hihi."

"Are you talking sarcastic to me, woman?" Ano bang tingin sa'kin ng babaeng to, bata?

"A-ah. H-hindi po. Hindi po." She answered while shaking her head.

Nagulat pa ako ng nakatayo na siya at humarap sa'kin. Damn it! May igaganda pa pala siya.

"Good morning, Sir. I am Nisyel Love Borora, 23 years old and I am applying for Executive Assistant."

"Sit," I managed to answer. I can feel the irregular beating of my heart. And this is bad, really bad. Even her name suits her. Nisyel Love. Her name sounds like an endearment to me.

"Hand me your folder, Love."

Bago ko pa napigilan ang sarili ko ay nasabi ko na pala. Shit! Did I just call her Love? Sana hindi niya nahalata ang paglambing ng boses ko. Pero mukhang nahalata nga niya dahil nanlaki ang kanyang mga mata at natulala.  Ang sexy niyang matulala.

"What's the matter?" I asked as if I didn't know anything. Mukhang natauhan naman ito dahil umayos siya ng upo. She even smiled before answering me. Kung hindi lang dahil sa istupidang sagot niya ay natulala pa sana ako sa pagngiti niya.

"Matter is anything that occupy space and has mass po."

"WHAT?!" T*ngina. Mauubos ang dugo ko sa babaeng 'to.

"Sir, 'yon po talaga ang definition ng matter kahit tingnan niyo pa sa libro," she insisted inosently. Hindi ko matukoy kung pinipilosopo niya ako o inosente nga talaga siya. I massaged my temple to calm myself.

"I have no time for crap, Miss." I declared frustratedly. Mukha yatang walang muwang dahil ngumiti pa ito. Kakaiba talaga. Tsk!

"Hand.me.your.folder." I said in my most authoritative voice to catch her senses.

I scanned her credentials when she finally handed her folder. Mukhang wala namang kainte-interes dito. Sigurado ba si mommy na kaya nitong maging assistant ko? Ultimong college algebra, 3.0 ang grade nang tiningnan ko ang transcript niya. Nagka flat 1.0 siyang grade pero sa NSTP pa. Pft! Pucha! Nababaliw na yata si mommy.

I continued scanning her credentials pero nararamdaman kong tinititigan niya ako. I smirked.

"Done checking me out?" She almost fell from her sit when I suddenly spoke. Lahat yata ng anggulo ay maganda siya. Ang ganda niya rin kasing magulat.

Hindi ko inasahan ang sagot niya sa'kin.

"Opo tapos na po. E kayo po tapos na kayong magbasa?"

Pft! Umamin pa talagang sinusuri niya ako. Kinunot ko ang aking noo para mapigilan ang pagtawa. This girl is amazingly beautiful inside and out.

"Why should I hire you?" I asked in a formal tone.

"Eh kayo, Sir, bakit niyo nga ba ako ihahire?"

"WHAT?"

Kung hindi lang 'to maganda nasapak ko na 'to kanina pa.

"Joke lang po! Kayo naman, Sir. Ang seryoso n'yo kasi." I groaned to stop myself from smiling.

"I am a very motivated person and a fast learner although I am new to the business world. I noticed in your posting that you are looking for an applicant with pleasing personality and I guess my records could support that Sir. And I am fervently willing and excited to work with SDM Empire as an executive assistant and bring to you my highest level of commitment and enthusiasm for this exciting career opportunity. I really think I am perfectly fit for this job, Sir."

Matino din pala tong kausap. Akala ko puro kalokohan lang ang laman ng utak niya. T*ngina. Kanina ko pa talaga gustong tumawa kung wala lang siya sa harapan ko. Kailangan ko siyang mapaalis bago pa ako sumabog dito at tumawa. As much as I wanted her to stay pero hindi puwede. I have to control myself.

"We'll call you," I finally said to end the interview.

"Alam n'yo Sir, kung hindi ako tanggap, pwede n'yo namang sabihin ngayon na. Hindi 'yong papaasahin niyo pa 'yong tao. Kaya hindi umuunlad ang Pilipinas e, kasi puro paasa ang mga tao. Sayang naman po ang pamasahe ko papunta dito kung walang kasigurohan. At saka para may oras pa akong maghanap sa iba kung hindi ako tanggap dito" madamdaming saad ko.

I stared at her unbelievably. Okay. She has a point but I didn't expect what she just said.

"Are you that rude to talk to your prospective employer?" I asked trying to hide a smile. She got a smart mouth. Damn.

"Syempre joke lang po ulit 'yon, Sir. Kayo naman. Tina-try ko lang po kung malalagpasan ko ang acting skills ni Jennylyn Mercado. Take your time po."

Pft! Tngina. Joke pala yun. Kaya pala natatawa ako. Thanks heavens, napigilan ko. I really have to let her go before I burst out laughing.

"You may leave." I finally said. But my heart twisted when her eyes gleamed sadness. Kaya bago pa siya makalabas ng pinto ay tinawag ko siya.

"Love--" Her eyes widen.

"That was your second name right?"

"Ay opo, Sir." She nodded as if she realized something. Maybe she thought it was an endearment. And I actually mean it that way.

"You're hired."

"Po?"

"You're hired."

Her eyes widen in surprised. She even slapped her own face. I groaned heavily.

Pagkalabas na pagkalabas niya ng pinto ay hindi ko na napigilan pa ang aking sarili.

"Hahahahahahahahaha"

"Hahahahahahahahaha"

Tngina. Nakakatawa talaga.

"Hahahahahahahahaha"

I laugh hard alone in my office. But when I realized I looked like a fool, I stopped. Pero tngina, ang sarap palang tumawang mag-isa. It's so relieving.

Such an amazing woman.

But there's something I realized more than that.

Damn!

Did I just fall in love at first sight?

Holy fcking shit!
