Chapter 9

Me and Kendrick were driving to his house then we pulled up to this mansion!!

"This is your house!" I said shocked

He grinned "yep but it's gonna be yours too one day."

I laughed "hopefully."

We pulled in the garage and got out when we went inside it was SOO nice! Nah jaw dropped!

"Oh my gosh!" I said

Kendrick grabbed my hand and walked me to the kitchen then sat me down at the table.

"Hold on.. There's somebody I want you to meet." He said

I nodded and thought to myself 'oh my gosh who's he gonna show me!' I'm so nervous.

"Okay here we come" he said

When he walked out he was carrying the most beautiful little girl I've ever seen!

"Astardi this is my.... Daughter Mercedes" he said

My heart dropped. I wanted to have his first child!

"Daughter ?" I asked

He nodded. A tear dropped from my eye. "Can you take me home?"

"Astardi, no she's not my blood daughter! I adopted her!" He said making me feel a lot better!!

"Oh!!! Well she's adorable!" I said making him smile then he kissed my temple

"Look who got jealous" he smirked

I play hit him "how old is she?"

"4"he said

I smiled at the little go hiding behind his leg . Then I bent down to her level and stuck my hand out to shake hers then she looked at Kendrick and he nodded

"Hi I'm Astardi" I said

"I'm Mercedes" she smiled

"Wow ! That's a pretty name!" I smiled and she hugged me!

"Daddy, is she my mommy!" She said getting excited

Before I could say anything Kendrick said "yes Mercedes this is mommy"

I wasn't sure of this idea but before I could tell Kendrick She smiled and hugged me again her smile made me melt and I couldn't resist falling in love with her!

"Mommy we're gonna have soo much fun! You can do my hair and we can go shopping and get our makeup done and we can beat daddy up!" She smiled

Her smile was so beautiful ! I picked her up and put her on my hip

"Baby we can do whatever you want!" I said

Kendrick smiled and walked into the living room

"Mommy wanna play a trick on daddy!" She whispered in my ear

"Ok!" I smiled

"Ok so I'm gonna go out there and were gonna sit with him then we start tickling him! Okay?" She smiled

"Yeah girl lets do it!" I high fived her!

We went out there and she sat on my Lap and I sat next to Kendrick and we held hands on the couch.

"1...2..3" she whispered in my ear and just as she said that we ticketed Kendrick

He picked both of us up and threw us each over his shoulders.

"KENDRICK! Put me down!" I screamed laughing .

"never!!!" He said running upstairs

Then he threw us down on his bed and we all watched a Disney movie then fell asleep with Mercedes in the middle. I'm really starting to feel like I have an actual family of my own .

When I woke up in the morning I was the only one in the bed but dayyyum! It smelled AMAZING!!

I went downstairs to see that Mercedes and Kendrick made me breakfast! Bacon, pancakes, orang juice, and more!

"Good morning mommy!" Mercedes said

"Yeah morning mommy" Kendrick smirked.

"Morning babies" I said kissing then both.

We ate and had a good ass breakfast! I mean I ain't know Kendrick could cook!

"Aye Mercedes want me to do your hair today?" I asked her

"Yeah! Daddy always messes it up!'' She said crossing her arms over her chest.

I'm starting to love this little girl already! Man! She just like me!

"Okay well you gotta have big head go buy me hair milk some clips and beads and a comb." I said referring to Kendrick

"Girl who you calling big head?" He said ghetto

"Listen here boo boo, imma slap the black off you!" I said

Mercedes starting laughing

"Mommy you ratchet!!" She said making Kendrick die of laughter

He started laughing so hard that he flipped backwards on his chair.

"You a mess" I said laughing and rolling my eyes getting up to wash the dishes

"Okay daddy go get what mommy said or we fighting!" Mercedes said.

Then. Just like that Kendrick was up & out. How she do that man!

MERCEDES POV

Yoo yoo yoo!

I'm Mercedes ! And I'm the cutest 4 year old in this town!

I got swag and daddy keep me looking fresh!

My daddy.. Or Kendrick doesn't think I know I was adopted but I remember being with my mother..

Her name is nicki Olverson she always was putting this white stuff up her nose then she'd bring boys home and put me in a cage while they had a sleepover in her room and she would spank me all the time even when I was being a good girl!

I like living with my daddy! He's funny and he gets me whatever I want! And now I have a new mommy but she look like my old mother. It's scary.

Astardi POV

It's the craziest thing! When I look into Mercedes eyes she look just like Nicki man! It's weird !

"Aye Mercedes you wanna make daddy cookies before he get back from the store ?" I asked

Her face lit up!

"COOKIES!!!!!" She shouted

"Yeah baby!" I said

"Yes mommy! Lets make them right now!" She smiled .

I got out a bowl and the ingredients then I got a wooden cooking spoon and when I pulled it out Mercedes face went blank

"please don't hit me with that!!!!" She screamed and started crying then ran into her room.
