Opening your eyes, all you could see was a halo of blinding light. Your thoughts were incoherent against waves of throbbing pain that seemed to pulsate within your head. You flexed fingers slowly, wincing quietly. Your body felt stiff and sore throughout, but underneath your fingertips you could feel smooth petals clustered almost impossibly.

Lifting your hand you gently probed your pounding head. The air smelt of copper, and a sticky streams trickled from your scalp.

You blinked slowly, trying to construct a complete thought from the clues around you. The light above you flickered, becoming defined by the rough circular frame that seemed to make the spotlight that cascaded upon you. Jagged stone walls crawled up towards the light, supported evenly by four columns that seemed thicker than redwood trunks. The chamber was lit solely by the single outlet above you.

A pained groan pulled your eyes away from your surroundings. Letting your head roll gently, you followed the sound finding yourself face to ass with Dash. Groaning you planted your palms firmly and pushed yourself up. You cradled your head in your palm.

Looking over your orange haired companion, you grumbled. "Why was your ass in my face?"

"Because gravity made it that way. I didn't do that myself." Dash groaned. She opened her eyes slowly, quickly squeezing them back shut and groaning yet again. Cradling her own head, you imagined she'd gotten hurt as well.

"Where's Rey?" You asked, surveying slowly as not to jarr yourself too much.

"Over here..." Another voice croaked.

You turned to see Rey laying face down in the blossoms. Deep brown hair fanned around her wildly, interwoven with the flowers and hiding her face almost completely. Her muffled groans made you chuckle slightly, but you couldn't spare much thought to her comical position. "You know, you look like you belly planted and just have up." You teased.

"I did that a long time ago. Right now I'm just too sore to move." She paused, expression hidden before starting again. "Where are we?:

You looked up and around as you waited for your friends to slowly push themselves up. The chamber was exactly what you'd assumed in your pain-induced haze, except for a singular door that seemed to be your only feasibly path out of the room. Your party laid haphazardly among a dense trove of bright yellow flowers. You plucked one from the dirt, pinching the petals and examining the blooms with an attentive eye.

"These flowers are crazy. They've should've been crushed under us right? And they definitely shouldn't have been enough to keep us alive after falling from a height like that."

Dash looked at the flowers beneath for herself, pondering a moment. She looked lost in thought, touching the flowers absently lost in thought. Shaking her head, two moss-green orbs met your own before she shrugged, attempting a cool smile. "Who cares? As long as we're alive. Is everyone okay to walk?"

Your fingers gently danced along the streams of blood across your face, finding a shallow gash but nothing a bandaid wouldn't heal. Rey gave a thumbs up as you did the same, wiping your blood in the flowers. "I'm okay."

Each of you were riddled with small wounds. Your clothes were tattered and torn. You had even lost a boot. Dash was already up, cradling a long shallow cut on her side. When she caught your gaze, she waved it off with a smile. You could see the mkld pain in her eyes but you knew she wouldn't let you help. She was of the same type of thought as you, knowing it could heal just fine by itself.

A very faint path led away from the bed but you couldn't follow it until you knew your friends were good enough to move. Heaving as you did, you towed Rey to her feet. She took her own weight upon herself but leaned on you to walk. Dash was on your other side, limping as she walked but still moving confidently.
