Sherlock's POV
Red. That's all we saw , they said we had 15 minutes left til it all went dark. Many had already took their lives ; Mary , lestrade , Mycroft , Johns parents , the list was on going . I promised john I would stay til the 'lights' went off (so to speak ) .
"Sher ? " he spoke , he's voice shaking ... "I love you , I know in less than 15 minutes we're going to , you know . But Sher I just want you to know I love you so bloody much ." Tears poured from his face as I walked ever so slightly closer .
"John , I love you too and I couldn't think of a better way to die ... Can I have this last dance ? "
I didn't know what I was thinking , nothing worked , no radio , no music . We burned my violin months back when it became too cold and we had run out of fire wood .
But I knew what to do . I pulled john up from his chair and slipped my slender arm around his waist while he put his hand on my chest , I took his free hand and intertwined it with mine . I slowly started to rock us side to side , while I sang ...
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

Tears were pouring from our faces

"The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken

I kissed john all my hopes and dreams of years in the future going into him

The last working speakers shouted out " 2 minutes left ."

"I'll always love you and make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me to love another,
You'll regret it all one day."
I pulled john closer hugging him as we rocked side to side : tears and little kisses

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy - ."
With on last kiss , the warmth of death lay us to sleep .
There would be no university , no future wedding , no more life and happiness , no more rows with Mycroft or no more john . Oh my john , my love . I ask only one thing of death ...

Please don't take my sunshine away .
