It was time . My palms stuck to the pockets of my trousers as i begun to slowly walk towards him .My Greg . His , now grey, hair fell on to his face and covered one of his beautiful eyes , his smile ; Cheshire cat like , big , bold . "Myc come on ! We have to get to the top before the sun sets !" He yelled laughing , I couldn't wait for days like this in the future . "ok OK , don't get your underwear in a twist . " He's head rolled back , roaring with laughter . A little while later as we came up to the last steps of the old hill I knew it was time . The sun let of a rose gold glow , the silhouettes of us were projected onto the long , lean grass below our feet . As I step forward I felt the air get kicked out of my lungs , I looked up from my position on the floor to be meant with two shinning eyes , Greg lay on top til he spoke "I love you myc ," he gave me a toothy grin "more than ever ." I knew it was time . I picked him up off me as sat him on my legs , his arms wrapped around my neck . I was shaking , yes that's right the British government was shaking . As I pulled out the box , the look Greg gave me told me he knew what was coming as his eyes started to fill . "Greg . As you know I was always the iceman , never loving , never smiling . When I meant you I thought you were stunning but I thought you'd never like me . Greg you've warmed my heart , will you warm it again , Greg will you be mine ? Forever from this day ." I ended it with the box opening reviling the gold and silver ring , it had 2 rare diamonds in it and was estimated at 90,000 pounds , but as the government it meant I got special favours so to speak . I looked up , he was now crying "yes ! Yes you - you big bear come here !" He yelled pulling me into a long and heated kiss .
