Kaia's P.O.V

I sat staring at my bedroom wall like I have for the past month, he's gone. He can't be. I didn't bother to reach up and wipe the tears off of my face. Liam doesn't want to look at me, he says I've lost myself and he can't fix me. Everyone else tries to help but eventually they all give up, I can't be fixed without him.

I closed my eyes and his petrified face flashed in my mind. My eyes snapped open, I saw him get pulled into the ground and disappear but part of me wants to think it's just some horrible nightmare that won't go away. That's what it is, it's a horrible nightmare that I can't escape, it's my life. I looked out my window, staring at the place that really started me and my first love. He's gone, our undeniable love story is over...
