When you show your parents videos or pictures of your favorite bands, youtubers or shows and they just think it's the dumbest thing ever and kind of make fun of you for obsessing over people older than you that don't even know you exist. Also, when you just want merch for your birthday or Christmas and they don't get you any caue they think it's wasting money. Just because something's not important to you doesn't mean it's stupid or a waste of time. It's just parents always preach being yourself and not letting what people say get to you yet they make fun of you for liking the things you like or punish you for spending your time on things you think matter. Sorry, that kind of went on a serious rant there. It won't happen again, promise.
