Remember

Cheating death

They all couldn't believe what they just heared. He is still here. Their leader, Scott, is still around. But as a ghost.

Lydia and Stiles just told the rest of the pack everything. They all had met in front of Lydia's house, otherwise Scott couldn't go with them inside, he can't take the stairs.

They had no time to wait anymore with telling them, they had to hurry. Scott was still a little transparent. They had no idea what would happen when it got worse. They couldn't take the risk.

Derek looked at Stiles and Lydia.

'Where is he now?' He asked them.

'He is right here with us. In fact, he is standing on your left side.' Lydia said.

Derek looked to his left, he saw nothing. Of course not.

'I'm the only one that can see him and talk to him. But we need to find out how to change that, how to bring him back alive.' Lydia said.

Everybody stared at each other, they had really no clue how they would do that.

'How is that even possible, his body is already buried, his powers are stolen by Peter and none of us knows how to bring someone back from the death. At least, I have no idea. Maybe you guys know more about it, but I certainly don't.' Liam said.

'Same for me.' Hayden said.

Mason only said 'Same.'

Derek looked at Lydia. He knew there could be a way to do it. And Lydia should know too.

'Lydia, don't you know it yourself? Remember what you did a couple years ago?' He asked her.

Everybody was looking in her direction now.

'He is right Lydia, he is talking about that time you brought Peter back to life. I totally forgot about it. Do you think that could work?' Scott asked Lydia.

Lydia knew exactly where this was going about. She remembered it all again, but just like Scott, she forgot about it. That's why she didn't think of it before. Probably she just wanted to forget it, but mostly it was because of all the other things that happened after it, that she forgot.

'Let me think for a second, I try to remember how I did that.' She said, seeming to forget all the others didn't know what she was talking about.

'Can someone explain us where this is about?' Hayden asked.

Lydia only realised now.

'Lydia once brought someone back from the death. It was Peter. We killed him once, Scott was just bitten by him a few weeks before. We took him down and I slashed his throat, I took his alpha powers. He was buried under our burned house. A year later or something, Lydia brought him back to life. She kind of abducted me, because she needed my alpha powers to bring him back. And it worked. He was there again.' Derek explained the others.

'Could you do that again, Lydia?' Malia asked.

'It's not that easy. It's really complicated. It only worked, because Peter told me what to do. He was in my dreams the whole time. Sometimes I saw him in reality. He was haunting me. I didn't understand anything from it back then. I didn't even know what I was, I didn't even really knew about werewolves for sure.' Lydia answered.

'But do you think you can try to remember what you all had to do for it? Maybe with what we all know by now, we can reconstruct it and bring Scott back. And Derek, you were there too, you said. Maybe you know some details too.' Stiles suggested.

Lydia stared at the ground. It was really hard to remember. All kinds of other memories from that period showed up again.

'Lydia, please. Try it for me, okay? It sounds like this could be my way out of this state I'm in. Would you at least try to remember, please?' Scott begged her.
