Chapter 23: A Day With the Boys

Sadly, yes. I'm spending another day with the boys. I wanted to be alone with Drew for the weekend... but he insisted on me getting comfortable around his friends. Which I'm not.

"No, I don't want to go." I said. "C'mon Heather, why not?" He groaned. I could tell Drew was getting irritated by me, but I didn't care. "I already met them like two days ago, can't we just spend the weekend by our selves?" I pouted tugging on the front of his shirt a little by his chest. "No," Drew flat out said. "You're kidding me. Fine ill go, what are we doing anyways?" I said grumpily. "Paint fight," Drew said smiling like a fool. I remember the last we had a paint fight, I had my first kiss, and it was with Drew. I rolled my eyes, "who's idea was this?" Drew rolled his eyes back at me, "the boys, c'mon lets go," Drew said grabbing my hand leading me to his truck.

"Shit," Drew muttered under his breath as he buckled his seat belt. "What? What's wrong?" I asked as my eye brows furrowed. "I forgot to tell the guys where we're meeting at," Drew said running his fingers through his hair, I melted, he looks so adorable when he does that, "I'll just text them," he said as he started the car.

"No ill do it, safety first," I insisted. Last thing I need is to get killed in a car accident. He rolled his eyes, "do you want to die?" I asked snatching his phone out of his hands. "We're not going to die, I can text and drive at the same time, I'm a professional driver you know," Drew stated. "I don't think so," I chuckled.

I turned on the radio flipping through stations till I found a song I liked. The skin on my leg tingled, I look down finding a hand squeezing it softly. I looked up at Drew, and he locked a gaze with me and turned his attention back to the road. A comfortable silence fell upon us. "So... Where are we going?" I asked. "The fields, where else?" Drew said. I texted Joey and Josh telling them where to meet us at.

I sighed holding Drews free hand, leaning my head on his shoulder, and kicked my feet up on the seat. He quickly kissed the top of my head making me smile. Music filled the silence in the truck as we drove.

"Hey baby all we got is all night, c'mon now, we're runnin' out of moonlight." The radio sang.

Country music was the best.

"Eeek!" I shrieked as the car alarm went off. I realized I fell asleep in the car and I was alone... so I began to panic. We were parked at the side of the field and I had no idea where Drew or the boys were. I saw two trucks parked in front of us, so they must be here somewhere. The loud beeping made me feel nervous, I didn't know what to do. I sat in the passenger seat with my knees pulled to my chest, eyes shut, and ears covered by my hands.

A few seconds later the alarm turned off and I heard laughter outside the truck. I opened my eyes as I saw three boys dying of laughter. My cheeks turned red and I was so embarrassed.

I opened the truck door more mad than ever. "You idiots! That was not funny!" I yelled. "You're such a spazz." Joey said holding his stomach as the laughter died down. "And you're such an ass." I spat crossing my arms. "Hey it's okay, we were just joking around." Drew said wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and kissing my cheek. I turned around with my arms still folded and stared at him with a serious face. "Shut up." I said bluntly.

I sighed from all the trouble. "Where's the paint? We're having a paint fight right?" I said. I felt a hand smash into my back, my jaw dropped and I gasped. Josh had blue paint on his hands and of course he got paint in my hair. Joey came after me next leaving a hand print on the back of my thigh. Was I the only one who didn't have paint? I was getting frustrated, I'm going to get those fools back.

I turned around finding my self slam into Drews chest. He chuckled and held my face with his hands. He locked gazes with me for a moment. His golden eyes had me hypnotized. Right then and there, he pressed his lips against mine. "Your lips have paint on them silly goose." I said as our lips fell apart. "So are yours." He smirked. I smiled slightly, well played. "So what? I don't get another kiss?" I pouted. His lips were my biggest weakness. Drew laughed, "come here." He pulled me in close wrapping his arms tightly around my back and did as I asked. He wasn't perfect, but he was the perfect one for me.

"Get a room..." Josh gagged. Joey made dramatic puking actions and noises. I rolled my eyes. They do that every time we kiss. Haven't you noticed? "Just wait till you get a girlfriend, I'll make sure the jokes never stop." Drew said. Joey and Josh just laughed. They're okay people. They're very dramatic though, and insanely annoying. Not to mention that they're immature. But I guess you could say I'm warming up to them a little.

I looked at my surroundings, three boys, one field, no paint. Well this is boring. The boys used all the paint, now I can't get my revenge, little brats.

"What do we do now?" I asked. I looked at Drew, he shrugged. I looked at Joey, no reaction. I looked at Josh, he smiled and said "Truth or Dare."

Oh great. Everyone's favorite game... not. "No, I'm not playing." I crossed my arms shaking my head. "Why not?" Josh asked. Last time I played, it ended in tears. "I just don't." I said sternly. "Fine. Let's play... duck duck goose!" Josh grinned. "No, you suck at picking things for us to do." truth be told. "what do you want to play?" he raised his eye brows. "Well someone's a sassy Sally today..." I said, and he really was being sassy though. I kind of wanted to play tag to be honest. I figured we shouldn't, the boys will end up thinking that I'm the one who's immature. Which I'm not!

"The question game?" I suggested. They all shrugged and nodded, we sat in a circle on the ground.

Drew clapped his hands together, "okay I'll start, so Josh, how many girls have you screwed this week?" Drew asked. Oh my gosh, someone gag me. This is disgusting. I cannot believe I'm hanging around these people. "two so far." Josh answered. "You guys are gross..." I muttered under my breath.

"What is your time record for making out with a girl?" Josh asked Joey. Really? These questions are horrible. "Let me think, I'm guessing about an hour or two." He answered. What? How can you have a fluffin make out session for that long?

"So Heather," Joey started. Oh my word, it's my turn. I just know he's going to ask me a perverted question. The pressure was getting to me. "If you and pretty boy over there were locked in a bed room for twenty four hours what would you guys do?" he smirked. I know the answer he was looking for was for me to say I would let Drew screw me, but there's no way in heck I'm saying that. I tried to seem calm, cool, and collected. I wasn't going to give him that kind of satisfaction. "We would probably cuddle, watch some movies, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. I'm not letting him take my virginity, no." I stated. "Damn, that girl is smart." Joey said. I smiled, well I'm not one of those typical high school girls who acts dumb to get a guys attention. Talk about desperate...

Questions were being asked. And soon enough we all went home just in time for dinner. Some questions were perverted and hard to answer. But honestly, I really was warming up to the guys, they weren't half bad. They were gross, immature, and stupid, but they were alright.
