Chapter 19: Kiss Me You Fool

Drew and I walked up to my room dropping our bags on the ground in the corner. I sighed and I plopped on my bed, "so.. What do you want to do? Your the one who asked to come over anyways, what do you have planned?" I asked. He smiled like a nine year old boy. "Well..." I said waiting for Drew to give me an answer.

"Paint fight," he grinned. "What? You want to have a paint fight? Uhm... No," I said flatly. Drew's smile suddenly flipped upside down, "why?" He pouted. "If it gets in my hair it'll take forever to get out," I told him. Boys these days... "Just tie up that long hair of yours," he pointed out. "But it would still get paint in it," I replied. He groaned, "does everything have to be so complicated when it comes to girls? Who cares? Lets go get some paint!" Drew cheered jumping up and down.

I guess he was right. Why worry about the little things? Wow did I just learn something from the schools player?

"Fine," I moaned. "Where can we get some paint?" Drew asked. "I think I have some in my drawer," I stood up pulling open my drawer. Drew gave me a weird look, "you keep paint in your drawer, where all of your clothes are?". I shrugged, "I mean, I have one drawer filled with random things and I'm pretty sure I have paint in there,".

I grabbed small bottles of paint, one of every color of the rainbow. "I have a great idea," Drew mentioned. Oh this should be great. "What is it?" I asked curiously. "Well I figured it would be cooler to have a paint fight if we dressed in white, I'm already wearing a white t-shirt so all you have to do is change into all white clothing," he said. Wow that was actually a really cool idea! Sometimes this boy is smart, sometimes he's stupid, it's hard to keep up.

"Wont your mom care that you ruined your clothes though? And what about my clothing?" I questioned him. He rolled his eyes at me, "Heather, what did I say about caring about the small things?" He reminded me. "I guess your right," I mumbled. "Are you going to change or what?" Drew asked. "Yeah, once you get out of my room," I motioned Drew to leave. "So close," Drew said shaking his head. Did he really thing I was was going to let him watch me change? I cringed at the thought.

I gave Drew the paint to hold onto while he waited for me to switch clothing. As he walked out I shut the door behind him and locked it. I slipped into a white tank top, white shorts, and white flip flops. I tied my hair into a messy bun, which is really hard considering my hair is long. I unlocked the door and carried half of the paint Drew was holding, we walked out into my backyard.

"Ready?" I asked Drew. "Oh it's on," he challenged. I smirked, "go!" I hollered. I threw paint all over his t-shirt. "You little witch!" He shouted, I smirked of course. He splattered different variations of paint all over my back getting in my hair a little and a little on the front of my shorts.

I began to laugh uncontrollably, till a snort came out of my mouth, my hand flew over my mouth. "Did you just snort?" Drew asked chuckling. "Oink, oink, oink," Drew said making pig noises at me obviously mocking me. "Shut up you little weasel," I said making a red hand print on Drews face. Drew stopped throwing paint.

Oh shit. I made him mad didn't I?

"You wanna do that?" He said cocking his head. "I just did," I smirked. Drew put his hand to my cheek leaving a blue hand print. "Now were twinning," I smiled. I dipped my index finger into the red paint and dotted my finger on his nose. He swung the paint bottle from left to right and there was a huge green line going across my tank top.

An evil smile crept upon my lips. He wants play hard? He wants to throw paint? Bring it on! I took two paint bottles in my hand and swung them at Drew randomly, he began doing the same. We both laughed and surprisingly I was having fun.
