Here's an early update for you guys!(: Enjoy!
Chapter 2: Cockiness Isn't A Charm
"so... can I have your number?" he asked, should I really give it to him? No... I just can't. "How about I give you my friend Emma's number instead, she cuter anyways," I said writing her number down on his arm. "But I don't want her number, I want yours," he winced. "Did you just not see her a minute ago? She's gorgeous, every guy goes crazy over her, so just take it, I think you'll like her," I said annoyed, I stormed off to my first hour class.

"So..." Emma wiggled her eye brows, "You and Drew have a thing?" she asked sitting in the desk next to me. "No!" I retorted, but I couldn't help but feel my heart beat a little faster. "He wouldn't stop being a big flirt... It's annoying," I huffed, Emma's face lit up. "So... He's mine?" she asked, I nodded my head, "all yours," I said. I couldn't possibly like him any way. I refuse to. Emma squealed in her seat as I rolled my eyes. The rest of class I spent my time doodling in my notebook bored of my mind.
The bell rang as the teacher said "class dismissed,". Everyone literally ran out of the class room, yes, the teacher was that boring. "Hey there shorty," Drew winked. Uhm... I am not that short! I'm 5'6! Okay maybe I am but... No need to give it nicknames! "Hey," I said ignoring his comment, he began to fall into my step as we approached my locker. "Are you busy tonight?" he asked, "not interested," I sighed shutting my locker and heading off to my next class. "oh c'mon! Pleasee," he winced giving me the puppy dog face, how cliche... but I couldn't say no! He was so cute...
"fine," I said, I could feel a smile form on my lips, I was flattered that he liked me out of the girls in school, especially Emma...

I walked into the parking lot about to hop into Trent's truck when I heard foot steps following me. I swiftly turned around on my heels, "Hi," I said, "Hey," he smiled. "I'll be at your house in an hour, be ready," he said, I smiled at my self and began to blush like crazy, I could feel it, I began to get really hot, I again used my hair to hide my face. He lifted my chin so I could stare into those beautiful golden eyes of his. "You shouldn't hide your face like that," Drew said, "I love the wrinkles around your eyes when you smile,". "Thanks," I giggled, it came out flirtatiously, I felt like slapping my self across the face for that! Snap out of it Heather! You don't like him...
***
"Why are you talking to Drew Parker?" Trent asked as I buckled my seat belt. "You know him?" I asked surprised. "Yeah... Every one knows him," he said. I blinked twice, "oh, well it was nothing really, he wants to hang out," I said starring at the side profile of Trent's face. His hands tightened on the steering wheel and his knuckles were as white as paper. "Is everything okay?" I asked. "I know what he does to girls Heather, he's a woman hopper, you can't take him seriously,".
Part of me agreed, but the other half disagreed and thought he might have a sensitive soft side to him. Every body has little goodness in them right? The car ride was intense and uncomfortably silent, I wiggled in my seat a couple of times. I felt so awkward I wanted the earth to form a big hole under me and swallow me. We finally pulled into the drive way, thank god! I scurried out of the car and ran upstairs into my room. I flopped on my bed and sighed as I lied on my back and let a million thoughts run through my mind.
I made a list in my mind about things I liked about Drew, and things I absolutely despised about him.
Something I liked about him... was his eyes, they took me to the edge and I felt hypnotized.
I also liked his smile, he had dimples and his teeth were perfectly aligned. I liked his jaw line. I also liked his face, to be honest he was really sexy, but a pretty face doesn't always mean a pretty heart.
Some things that I didn't like about him was the fact that he was a big flirt! You can't flirt with three girls one day then be desperate for me the next. I also hate how he's so determined to get what he wants, I mean it's a good thing that he's determined but he does it in such an annoying way.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the doorbell, I sprinted down the stairs like a ninja and opened the door, "Hi," I said letting him in and leading Drew to my room. "Hey shorty." he said mockingly. We both sat on my bed facing each other, "so... why did you want to hang out?" I asked, "because your my friend!" Drew said smiling like a fool. I rolled my eyes, "no, were not," I said annoyed. A frown splattered on his face, he stared at me uncomfortably and I could feel his stare burning through my head. "what?" I asked shrugging my shoulders. "I'm confused," Drew cocked his head to the side like a dog. "why?" I asked curiously.
"Your not like other girls, every girl usually wants to get with me, don't they?" he smirked.
"why are you so cocky?" I smirked back, "It's my charm!" he huffed. I rolled my eyes for the millionth time at him, "cockiness isn't a charm,".
He ignored my comment, "anyways... how have I not seen you before?" Drew asked. "Your too busy making out with your girl of the week to notice a goody-two-shoes like me," I snapped. He crossed him arms over his chest, "not true!" he pouted. A smirk fell upon my lips, "Yes true!" I laughed. "what about you! Don't act like you've never made out with a guy before," he said, I suddenly got really nervous and embarrassed. "I-I haven't," I stuttered, he burst out laughing. A frown fell on my face and my cheeks turned pink, "stop it!" I yelled. "Sorry shortie!" Drew said still laughing, rolling all over my bed. "Cmon, you can't be mad at me...".
"obnoxious idiot," I muttered under my breath.
Drews laugh began to turn into snorts and the sound of a hyena, I began to laugh too. "I knew you couldn't be mad at me, I'm irresistible," he remarked, wiping his eyes from crying and laughing at once. "Whatever," I huffed. "Well, I better get going Heather," he said standing up from my bed. I stood up after him, "your not calling me shorty anymore?" I smirked. "see you shorty." he smiled.
At first I didn't like the fact that he made fun of me for my hight by calling me shortie, but now... I kind of like it.
