Chapter 8: Fine I Love You

"let me go!" I shouted hitting his back as he carried my over his shoulder. "give me the cd," he said sternly approaching his pool in his backyard, "no," I said holding a cd in my hand. It was still a little to cold to be even swimming although summer was almost here, just a few more months. How did I end up in this situation? Let me explain.

***

I knocked on Drews front door, we were going to clean out his attic, and why was I helping him you ask? Because my life was boring as heck and I had nothing better to do than hang out with this big flirt. "Hi," I smiled as he opened the door. "ready to work?" he asked, I nodded my head as healed my hand lightly leading me to the attic.

As our skin made contact my hand tingled and my heart began to beat hard that I felt it would jump out of my chest. I like the feeling of my hand being held in the warmth of his, it was comforting.

He opened the door still holding my hand, I smiled at that. "okay let's start," Drew said, I walked over to a stash of photo albums piled high on top of each other, I opened a photo album and as I did billions of dust came out from inside it. I coughed furiously trying not to breathe it in, I waved my hand in front of my face waving the dust away. "why the hell is there so much dust in a photo album?" I coughed. Drew laughed like a child, I glared at him, "not funny," I said, "yes funny!" he laughed. "I nearly died!" I choked out. "it was dust..." Drew chuckled. I rolled my eyes flipping through the photo album.

"Aw!" I cooed, "nonono don't look at those!" Drew said running over to me fumbling to take the album away from me. He looked so cute as a baby, he had the biggest golden eyes and rosy chubby cheeks. "You were so adorable," I said pinching his cheeks making him blush, "stop." he said sternly. "I was just joking," I giggled. "I will work on cleaning out the photo albums, you can go over there and work on the CD's or something," he shooed me.

I walked to the pile of CD's, I tried to read the title written on the case holder of it but it was too dusty, I blew the dust off coughing again as I hear a faint chuckle from across the attic, I groan in annoyance. The title was written in sharpie that said 'Baby Drew's Childhood Memories'. An evil grin spread across my face, I hid the CD behind my back holding it with one hand, "hey uh... I gotta pee," I told Drew and headed out of the attic.

I lied.

I went into the living room popping the CD in the DVD player, it began to play as Drew was naked in the bath tub playing with a rubber duck, his hair messily hanging everywhere. It looked like he was a year old. He was so cute! "can you say 'Drew' for me?" I heard his mom say behind the camera. "blah," Drew echoed, "no, say 'Drew' for me baby," his mother told him. I began to laugh my head off, rolling on the floor, feeling a six pack coming in, I couldn't breathe! "Heather?" I heard Drew said while walking down the stairs, I began to panic, I grabbed the disk from the DVD player before he could see me. "what are you doing?" Drew asked curiously as I hid the disk behind my back. "uh, nothing," I said nervously, my hands were shaking. "you said you were going to the bathroom, what are you doing in my living room?" he said eyeing me, "I was, I was uh, smelling your carpet," I stuttered, why did I say that? Damn I suck lying! Drew burst out laughing spitting in my eye, "you suck at lying!" Drew laughed, I gasped as his spit hit me directly in the eye, I shut my eyes tight as I yelled, "ew!".

"say it don't spray it!" I wined, "what ever," Drew said rolling his eyes sighing.

"what were you really doing here?" he asked.

"nothing," I said seriously.

"what's behind your back?"

"nothing!" I repeated.

He quickly ripped the CD out of my hands from behind my back, "give it back!" I shouted, "no! Im not letting you watch this," he said holding it in his hands high so I couldn't reach it. "too late," I smirked. I tackled him knocking Drew to the floor, "give!" I pleaded, he squirmed like a fish on dry land as I struggled to receive the disk back as I sat on top of him, but eventually I did get it back using my ninja skills.

I let an evil laughter escape from my mouth as I ran outside, he chased me, luckily I was a fast runner, but not fast enough to out race Drew Parker. I headed to the back yard as a pair of hands made there way around my hips throwing my over Drews shoulder, he began making his way for the pool.

And that is how I ended up in this messy situation. "give me the disk," he demanded, "no," I retorted, "fine! I guess I'll just have to throw you in the pool!" he threatened. I hit his back with my free hand that wasn't holding the disk millions of times, "let me go!" I screamed.

The next thing I knew, I was lifted into the gravity of air, I threw the CD before it could hit the water of the pool. I closed my eyes and held my breath. The strangest thing was that I felt Drews fingers interlock with mine as we sunk underwater. We both began to float to the top of the pool water, I swam to the edge of the pool and sat on the edge, Drew sat next to me hanging our legs in the water. "I hate you," I glared at him shivering. "you love me," Drew smiled. "no, I don't," I said feeling the goose bumps rise on my neck. "want me to throw you in again?" he threatened. "fine I love you," I admitted.
