Chapter 5: May I Say His Laugh Was Sexy?
"Bye Heather," Trent said as he kissed my forehead good-bye, I watched him leave as I stood by the back door. Trent was going to a party so I was basically left home alone for the night, which I was terrified by! When ever I'm home alone my mind aways plays tricks on me, my mind suddenly begins to think of all the possible bad things that could happen to me. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard my phone begin to ring with the song 'A Team' by Ed Sheeran, I sprinted up stairs to my room and pressed the 'accept' button.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey shortie," I heard the other line say, oh god... this cant be who I think it is. "Drew?" I asked, "how did you get my number?" I continued, I bet you could literally see the steam smoking out of my ears. My hands suddenly rolled in to a fist and I literally growled low and softly. "Did you just growl?" I Drew asked, "I'm not answering your question till you answer mine!" I retorted. I heard him sigh on the other line, "I got your number from Emma," he said and I rolled my eyes, "thats great... now that you have my number may I ask what you want?" I said using more attitude than I intended.
"I want to come over," he said. My heart flip flopped inside my chest and of course I began to blush. No! I'm not letting him come over after the way he tormented me with compliments. "No!" I said refusing, "I'm still mad about what you did to me today," I pouted, okay maybe I wanted him to come over teensy-weensy bit...
"I'm really sorry! I didn't mean too..." he said in his baby voice. Damn I was such a sucker for things like that. "but it's already eight... and-" I was cut off, "cmon, it's a weekend, pleeasee..." he begged, "ugh! Fine!" I groaned, I gave up. "I hate you," I said. He chuckled, "I hate you too," I could already picture that smugly smile forming on his lips. May I say his laugh was sexy as hell? "I'll be over in an hour," Drew continued. Which I had no problem with, I was glad I wouldn't be home alone for the whole night, Trent wouldn't be back at least after midnight...
I changed out of my school clothes into hello kitty pajama pants, hello kitty slippers and a pink tie dye t-shirt. I cleaned off all of my makeup as well. Sure I wasn't going to look the most attractive when Drew arrives but I wanna be comfortable!
***
"Hey I heard you were the wild one!" I sang at the top of my lungs, I blasted my iPod on my iHome dancing my ass off making time fly by while waiting for Drew to show up. "If I took you home it'd be a home run!" I sang again, I began to dance and jump on my bed. No one was here so I went full out!
"Nice moves," I heard someone clap. Oh no... It can't be who
I think it is...
