I groaned as I stretched my legs out. They were so sore from practice yesterday. Coach had us running for a majority of practice due to our "crappy" game play last week and she didn't want it to happen again in today's game. Speaking of which, I should probably get up. I laughed because I'm pretty sure I looked just like Anna from frozen when she got up for coronation day. My hair was in a complete mess and I was struggling to keep my eyes open. I'm most definitely not a morning person and I never have been.

As I started to get up, I heard my phone vibrate on the nightstand so I reached over and grabbed it.

Lauren💚 - "Hey! Good luck on your big game today! I wish I could be there to see you play but I have this thing I have to do today."

I smiled to myself after I finished reading the message. Me and Lauren have been talking non stop since last Saturday. I really, really like her and our conversations are literally the best parts of my day. As cheesy as it sounds, I can't get her out of my head and she's all I think about. She just has a beautiful mind and the way she thinks is intriguing to me. I haven't seen her since last Saturday at the club and I honestly can't wait to see her again.

(Y/N) - "Thanks! I wish you could be here today to, but good luck with whatever you have to do today! Maybe you can catch one of my next games?"

After waiting around for her reply, I got up, brushed my teeth and threw on a pair of track pants and a black under armour shirt. The apartment complex that I live in has a nice size gym on the ground floor so I made my way to the elevator making sure I had my phone and headphones in hand. Once I got in and hit the button for the ground floor, I felt my phone vibrate.

Lauren💚- "I will definitely be coming to one of your games! You can count on that. And thank you!"

I had a huge smile on my face as I exited the elevator and went into the gym to start my morning workout. I can't believe she actually wants to come see me play. I never told her what team I played for, or that I was professional...Just that I played softball. For all I know, she could just think it's like a friends/family type game. We never really talk much about what we do for a living. Boy, is she going to be surprised...

----------

It was 5:15 in the afternoon and our games normally start at 6 with the pre game activities starting at 5:30. Right now we were supposed to be listening to coach give us a small pep talk to get us ready but my mind was wondering off to a certain green eyed girl.

About 20 minutes later we made our way out to the field to see the singing of the national anthem. We were all standing off to the side where they had the microphones set up. There was five of them in a line along with five stools a few feet back, so it must be a group instead of a single person. Or maybe they got five famous singers to do it together? Now that would be interesting. I was pulled from my thoughts by the sound of the announcer.

"Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome world wide, multi-platinum recording artists, Fifth Harmony for the singing of the National Anthem."

Fifth Harmony? Hmm, don't guess I've heard of them before. I clapped with everybody else as a group of women walked onto the field. A girl group? Well there's certainly not a lot of them around anymore. Again, why have I not heard of them? They all came out in jeans with letterman jackets on...must be a fashion look or something because it's too damn hot to be wearing a jacket. I couldn't see their faces clearly when they first walked out but now that they were coming up to their microphones it was easier to see their faces.

The first one in line had a small frame and long black hair with a bow on top. She had to be Latino, especially with an ass like that. After her was a dark skinned girl who had a beautiful smile on her face. The third one had her head down so I couldn't really see her face. Oddly, her body frame and dark, messy styled hair looked kind of familiar. I skipped over to the next person, she was kinda short but like an adorable short. And last in line was a tall girl with amazing hair, I have to admit that I was jealous...she had a big smile that really suited her...wait a minute, I've seen her somewhere before. I thought back and remembered that she was at the club with Lauren...realization finally dawned on me and I darted my eyes back over to the girl in the middle. She was currently looking down and messing with the edge of her jacket. There was an "L" patch on the left side of the jacket...it has to be her. I kept my eyes locked on her and finally she gave up doing whatever she was doing and looked up. My heart stopped beating and my mouth dropped... It was her! I'm pretty sure I'm in shock right now. Never in a million years would I have expected her to be standing right there. And, she's a singer which, honestly I don't mind, at least she knows the struggle of everyone being in your business all the time. I kept my eyes on her and just admired her...she was so damn beautiful standing up there with one of those toothy smiles placed on her gorgeous face. Seeing her smile caused me to smile because of how beautiful she looked.
