***The video shown above is just to show you who Asher is and what he does in his free time. I thought it was pretty cool, so I added it here. All credits go to theaaronbaer!***

ASHER'S POV

Why did I even come to this stupid party anyway? Oh yeah, because Edith forced me to this hell hole. I glanced around at all their million dollar decorations. You know, I could really just smash each and everyone right now to teach them a lesson. Then I would blame it on one of these idiotic drunk girls around here... I wandered around while my new girlfriend didn't realize I saw her being a hoe from afar.

That's when someone, probably drunk, bumped into me. Their drink spilled all over my white shirt.

"Watch where you're going idoit," I snarled and looked down. The person who I had collided with was much shorter than me. The idiot looked oddly familiar. Recognition flickered in her eyes as I realized who she was.

"Noami," I said at the same time she said my name.

"What are you following me?" I asked in disgust. Everywhere I went she was there. At my girlfriend's building, orientation, the party, and even at McDonald's. She hadn't noticed me, but I had noticed her. She was pretty hard to miss, with her long legs...swinging braids...ugh, and that annoying laugh.

"No, I'm not following you," she said, clearly offended.

"Then, why are you always showing up everywhere?" I shouted over the loud music.

"I don't know, maybe because we go to the same school?" she replied getting more angry by the second. She got pissed off really easy. Maybe I could have fun with that...after all she was drinking already. She would even remember this by tomorrow. I grabbed one of her long braids and tugged on it.

"Is this your real hair. This braid is soo long you could play jump rope with it. Probably not you know how black girls love their wea-"

Her eyes practically turned red as she threw the remainder of her drink in my face.

"Shut up you douche bag!" she screamed in my face and stomped away. I licked my lips to see what type of alcohol she was drinking that made her so mad.

It was coca cola.

She wasn't drunk.

NOAMI'S POV

C'mon Summer, we're leaving. Right now." I said to Summer, pulling her away from the guy she was talking to.

"Why," she slurred slightly. "We just got here."

I was fuming, how was Asher, someone that I barely knew, just going to insult me like that?

"Five more minutes mom," Summer laughed.

"Okay, we'll stay for a little longer," I grumbled. As much as I wanted to leave, I didn't want to ruin Summer's night." I let Summer be and walked over to one of their expensive leather couches. I didn't have anymore coke to drink. I sat down, and took my phone out. Mindlessly liking instagram pictures while ny roommate flirted was not what I thought I would be doing tonight.

"What the heck happened to your shirt," I heard someone say. I looked up. Of course Edith and Asher were standing just a shirt distance away. Of all places they could be in this huge house, they're in the same room as me.

"Some ditzy girl bumped into me and spilled her drink on my shirt."

"Oh what does she look like," Edith questioned him.

"Uhh, I don't know. She's black. Has these long fake braids in her hair." Gosh if he says something about my hair one more time...

"You mean her?" I looked up to see Edith pointing in my direction."

"Yup." Edith started for me with Asher trailing behind her.

"So, I heard you spilled my drink on my boyfriend."

"Yeah, and," I replied. "It was a mistake.

"Mistake my ass." She shot back. "You're making my boyfriend look bad and when you do that, you make me look bad. And if you already hadn't noticed, I don't like to look bad." Oh, I had noticed alright. Tonight she had on a tight black tube top, with a tight black skirt. She looked like a straight up hoe.

"No, I had only realized you liked looking like a hoe," I shot back. No one was going to intimidate me.

"Excuse me," Edith gasped. "Babe, aren't you going to say anything to this ghetto dog?" I stood up, about to walk away before I got to mad and hit her.

"No, it's best not to associate yourself with the animals," Asher taunted me. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around slowly.

"Say something about me again," I growled, "Next time it would be coke I through in your face. It'll be bleach."

"You're not goi-" Edith started.

I cut her off and said, "You might want to get your little girlfriend checked out. I saw her flirting with just about ever guy in here." Edith screamed in protest as I walked away to find Summer.

"Let's go right now," I grabbed Summer and started to walk, giving her to room to protest. With my free hand I grabbed my phone out my purse and called a taxi.

"Back to building Northend, please," I told the man giving him a ten. He took my money and starts to drive.

"What's wrong Naomi," Summer asked. "You look pretty heated."

"Nothing," I huffed.

"No, it's something. Don't make me have to stop this taxi to beat someone up," she said half joking and half serious.

"I ran into Edith and her boyfriend," I explained, "and I accidentally spilled my coke on him. She got mad, Asher made a few comments about me that's it."

"What type of comments,"she asked, "asked "and who's Asher,"

"Asher the boy who came into the dorm," I said, avoiding the question about her insults. She might get mad too if I told her Edith insulted our race.

"Oh, yeah. Tell me about that," I explained the way Asher came into our dorm yesterday looking for Edith.

"Does he still have a key," Summer asked.

"Oh my god, yes. I didn't even realize." I said.

"No doubt we'll be seeing them again, so next time we'll just ask for our key." I agreed. I didn't like the fact that Asher still had access to our dorm.

We made it back to our dorm shortly after that. Luckily our RA was asleep so we didn't have to explain why we we're arriving so late. Summer unlocked the door to our room, letting me in first.

"Classes start tomorrow, so I'm going to sleep a little early tonight," I told Summer removing my makeup. I was so glad that my first class didn't start until 10:45.

"I'll hit the sack too," Summer said yawning loudly. Pretty soon, we were bare faced with bonnets on.

"Goodnight," we said to each other in unison.

I clicked off my lamp as she clicked off hers.

Tomorrow was going to be a better day. I felt it.
