NCIS High School Teenage Years

Chapter 1: New Neighbors

"Tony! Get your butt over here!" Abby yelled at her seventeen year old brother. Kate held her binoculars to her eyes and looked out the window to the moving truck down the street.

"Geez Abs. What do you want?" Tony asked, walking into his sister's room.

"New neighbors. Wanna look?" Kate asked.

"Nah. Snooping is for girls". Tony said, turning away.

"Oooh, I see a cute teenage girl getting out of a van". Kate said, smiling.

Tony whipped his head around, and rushed over to Kate. "Well, since you offered..." He said, snatching the binoculars away from her and raising them to his eyes.

Tony thought that the teenage girl was very pretty. She had soft, curly dark brown hair with chocolate brown eyes. Her skin was flawless and tan. Her face looked young, yet mature. Tony realized that his mouth was open, and hastily shut it.

"If you three are done snooping around, I suggest you get over there and introduce yourselves". Jenny said, leaning up against the doorframe.

All three of the Gibbs children scrambled to their feet, and rushed out of the room; Tony leading the way. As he turned the corner, he almost bumped into his father, and almost spilled the coffee he was drinking.

"Tony!" Gibbs shouted. "You better have a damn good reason for almost spilling my coffee!"

"Sorry dad! Have to help the new neighbors". He said, running down the stairs.

Gibbs smirked and resumed sipping his coffee. His wife came out of Abby's room. She put her arms around him, and rested her head on his shoulder.

"What's Tony's sudden interest in the new neighbors?" Gibbs asked Jenny.

"A teenage girl". Jenny replied, smirking.

Gibbs said nothing. Instead, he took a big gulp from his coffee mug.

"I'll be in the basement". He finally said, and kissed Jenny on the head.

As the Gibbs children approached the moving truck and van, they saw two teenage girls and a teenage boy talking in a language they didn't understand.

Abby cleared her throat.

"Um hi! I'm Abby, she's Kate, and this-" Abby begun to say, but Tony interrupted her.

"My name's Anthony". Tony said. "Friends call me Tony, which backwards is 'y not".

Abby rolled her eyes. "Tony is our brother". She explained to the gorgeous, exotic-looking teenager who raised her eyebrows at Tony. "We are your new neighbors. Welcome to the neighborhood!"

Abby was a little nervous. The older teenage girl and the teenage boy looked intimidating. The youngest teen however, seemed kind.

The oldest of the teenagers spoke.

"Shalom. I'm Ari. This is my half-sister Ziva". He nodded his head to the oldest teenage girl. "And this is my other half-sister Tali". He nodded his head to the youngest teenager.

"Shalom". Ziva and Tali said in unison.

"Shalom. Isn't that hello and goodbye in Hebrew?" Tony asked.

"Very good". Ziva said. Her voice sounded kind, however her eye's showed no emotion.

"Ari, Zivaleh, Tali!" A man's voice yelled from inside the house.
