"Is this your place?"

Napatango si Viroughn at isinara ang pintuan ng kanyang condo unit nang makarating sila sa loob. Agad namang naglakad si Rika at inilibot ang paningin.

"Cool. But your room is much bigger than this." sabi nito at naupo sa couch sabay patong ng paa sa maliit na lamesa. Napailing nalang si Viroughn dahil doon at naglakad patungo sa harap nito sabay crossed arms.

"You'll be living here for now. You can't live in our house because they might get confuse and I hate interrogation. My mom will interrogate me nonstop if she sees you." saad ni Viroughn dahilan para mapatango si Rika sapagkat naiintindihan niya naman iyon.

"So.. I will be the only one living here then?"

Napatango si Viroughn. "Precisely. But don't worry, I will tell the manager to assist you here and give you what you need especially foods. I will also visit you often. Just don't get out without my consent because you're not familiar here. You'll get lost."

"Oh, Hai! I will follow your rules young master!" ngiting pagsang-ayon nito sabay salute pa kaya napailing na lamang si Viroughn.

"You know, you don't need to call me that way, Rika." sagot ni Viroughn at napasipat sa kanyang relos.

Napa-tilt naman ng ulo si Rika. "Nande dayou? As far as I know, you are our Young master.." litong sambit nito kaya muling napatingin sa kanya si Viroughn.

"You are special to me. You don't need to call me that way."

Bigla namang napa-isip si Rika at napangiti kay Viroughn. "Hmm.. Well then, can I call you.. Kuya? Kuya Viroughn? Because that's how Filipino people call their older brother or any guys who are older than them right?"

Si Viroughn naman ang napaisip, hindi naman siguro masamang tawagin siyang ganoon ni Rika. "Fine. You can call me that way." sangayon niya rito.

Napatango-tango naman si Rika habang nakangiti parin ngunit unti-unti rin siyang sumeryoso nang may bigla siyang maalala.

"Uh.. About the thing you have to do here.. How was it?" tanong nito na nagpatigil naman kay Viroughn at napabuntong hininga.

"About that.. I'm still finding them but don't worry, I made a promise and a promise is always a promise. I won't break it no matter what it takes, Rika." seryosong saad ni Viroughn dahilan para mapatahimik naman si Rika at mapaisip ng mga bagay-bagay gayon na rin si Viroughn.

"I'm really glad that we met you Kuya Viroughn. If ever you need a companion, I'm willing to help you out." sabay ngiti ng matamis ni Rika kaya napangiti na rin si Viroughn.

"No need for you to do that Rika and I don't want someone who's special to me will be taken away again." sagot ni Viroughn kaya napangiti tuloy ng mapait si Rika.

Napabuntong hininga naman si Viroughn. "I think I need to go now. My mom will find me if she knew I sneak out from the house."

"Oh. Okay, I'll be fine and Thank you for letting me live here, Kuya Viroughn." pasalamat ni Rika at tumayo para ihatid si Viroughn sa pintuan.

Nang silay makaabot roon ay muling nagpaalam si Viroughn dito. "I'll be going now, take care Rika and don't forget to call me if you need something or if there's emergency, Okay?" paalala niya rito na agad namang tumango at ngumiti ng matamis.
