Dr. Butler's POV
I got to the CT room and talked to the tech.
"Anything yet?" I questioned.
"Right here...", the tech pointed to his heart.
"There isn't anything there", I said.
"There is not. So why does he have symptoms of cancer?"
"I don't know", I answered.
I did a blood test and the results confused me so I went to the chief of surgery.
"Dr. Sivan", I said walking into his office.
"Yes?"
"I have a patient... Dan Kendall. He was diagnosed with a heart tumor. Cancerous. It had been caught late so he is dying."
"What about it?"
"I did a CT and there was no tumor... I did a blood test and there was no trace of him ever having cancer", I said.
"Who diagnosed?" Dr. Sivan glared.
"Nick Jonas. He is missing. I replaced him on the case", I sighed.
"I will report this. You got tell the family he is okay and try to keep them from suing", He said walking out of the room.
So Dan is going to live... But why would Dr. Jonas purposely try to make him sick?
I went and told the Kendall's that Dan will live. They aren't going to sue but... I can't think of why Nick would do this. We were best friends. He would never have made someone purposely sick... or would he?
