Chapter 16: Recovery

~Tim's POV~
I'm in Sami's hospital room while she's asleep. She gets to go home tomorrow. I don't want to leave her alone after the Tyler situation. Just because they caught Tyler doesn't mean someone else won't try to kill her again. I wasn't gonna lose her like I lost Adam. I was deep in thought. I zoned everything out until a doctor burst into the room. I heard a sound. I looked at Sami's heart monitor. Her heart was slowing down. The doctor and nurses rushed her out of the room. I followed them. They took her into a surgery room. I called Ross.
"Hey Tim. Is Sami up?"
"No. You and the guys need to get down her now. Sami's heart started to stop. She's in surgery now."
"Ok. We'll be there soon."
He hung up.
*4 hours later*
The doctor slowly walked up to us all.
"I'd like you all to follow me."
We all got up and followed the doctor. He took us into the room Sami was in, but she wasn't in the room.
"Where's Sami?"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you all about," he paused and sighed, "She's in the ECU. She's gone into a coma. There's no telling when she'll wake up."
~Sami's POV~
I was back in the offices. Where I say Adam again. Except I was outside. I ran up to the doors. I ran through the office until I reached Adams office. His light was on but he wasn't there. I looked everywhere until I ran past the kitchen. The light was on. I walked in. Adam was there.
"I see your in critical state. Your heart almost stopped. You almost died. Why are you doing this to yourself Sami." Adam said not even looking at me.
"You. Your the reason I'm doing this."
"If you die. You won't be stuck here like me. You'll move on."
"You don't know that."
"Yes I do."
Adam turned and looked at me finally looked at me. He walked up to me and slapped me. I fell to the ground.
"I WANT YOU TO STAY ALIVE! IF NOT FOR THEM! THEN FOR ME! YOUR NOT GONNA DIE! YOUR NOT GONNA LEAVE YOUR KIDS! I DON'T WANT YOUR KIDS GROWING UP WITH A MOTHER! YOUR GONNA LIVE! ITS ALL UP TO YOU!"
I just stayed on the floor. I started to hear Tim's voice and my kids voices. I stand up. I look at Adam one more Tim.
"When I leave. I'm done. I'll move on. I'll forget you for the best."
"That's what you need to do. That's why I'm stuck here. Cause you won't move on."
I turn to walk out.
"Well I'm sorry for ever loving you."
Before I walked out of the kitchen Adam grabbed my arm. He pulled me into a kiss. Then he pulled apart and turned away. I walked out the entrance.
