Chapter 11: At Peace

~Sami's POV~
I was laying in bed. I found a babysitter so I could go back to work. After I told her everything I grabbed my keys and drove to the offices. I had to show the new members of our group around. Since its changed a lot. I walked through the office doors. Jin, Tyler, Ty, Okward, and Mudkipz were standing there. They moved here last week. I showed them their offices. I didn't tell Tim I was showing up so he was surprised to see me there.
"So we have all these new members but we don't have new editors."
"I'm sure some of them know how to edit their own videos. I know Jin can. Even if some can't I'd be happy to help you guys."
"Thanks. Oh and Sami, Ross was asking how you were doing but I told him to go away."
"Ok. I'll go find him now," I turn around, "You guys all set?"
They all said yep. I went to go find Ross. I walked to his office and he was there. I knocked and walked in.
"Sami!" Ross shouted hugging me.
"I missed you too. Jeez."
"Sorry I've just been so worried about you."
"I know. Everyone has."
"I love you sis."
"I love you to bro."
"I'm not recording a video with anybody so since your back can we record one together?"
"Yea. Which game?"
"Well a GTA mod showcase."
"But Adam does- er um did those."
"Someones gotta take over."
I went silent for a little bit.
I was silent until Ross said, "and today I'm joined with, My sister SPIRIT!"
"hey!"
*After the video*
I called everyone into the main room.
"Barney, Ross, Max, Tim, and Jin come with me. Everyone else work on any video you want because I need these guys for the rest of the day."
We walked over to where my office was.
"What do you need us for Sami?" Max asked.
"A do not laugh."
"But there's six of us." Tim said
"So, we'll make this work. We're missing something here at the offices. Does any of you guys know what it is?"
"Apples?" Barney said.
"More editors?" Tim said.
"Nicer people that don't make fun of my name?" Mad Max said.
"Fire Emblem?" Jin said.
"Happiness you idiots!" Ross shouted.
"Yea. Happiness and laughter."
"So that's why you wanted to do an unplanned do not laugh."
"Yes."
We go to the set and we set everything up. Once everything is ready Corey turns on the camera.
"Hey guys! Spirit here! And today I'm joined with Barney, Max, Tim, Jin, and Ross. And if you haven't noticed we're doing a do not laugh. It's gonna be a longer version not only because there's six of us but because we gotta now get six points to win."
*After the video*
Barney won. I was scared for life after the first joke Barney did. Once your seen Barney with basically no shirt on, you can't unsee that. But it was nice to laugh. I walk to Adam's office. I told everyone that no one was gonna use it. I stood in the doorway. I looked at everything in his office. I saw a picture frame on the desk but it was turned around. I walked over to it and picked it up. It was a picture of a little girl with words next to it. 'My first love.' The closer I looked at the photo I realized that the girl in the photo was, Me. Oh my god. I thought Alesa was his first love. Apparently I was wrong. I placed the picture frame back down. But I didn't make it face the wall like Adam had it. I just wish Adam would of told me that sooner. I did love him until well I met Tim and when I heard he was getting married so I thought he'd never love me. I sat down on the floor. I just sat there and thought about stuff. Everyone was shouting my name looking for me. I would see people walking past Adam's office. Of course they wouldn't look in here since the light is off and his blinds are closed but one person knew where I'd be. Tyler. He came in and sat next to me.
"Doesn't it hurt to sit in here?"
"No. If anything. Its relaxing. When I'm in here I feel like Adams holding me tight. I guess I feel more at peace right now. I haven't felt at peace like this in so long."
"I bet."
We sat there in silence. I felt Tyler reach for my hand. His hand was on mine. I felt even more at peace with my old friend here. Maybe having all of Adams old friends here is what's making me feel more at peace with myself. Soon we were found in Adams office.
"What are you two doing in here?"
"Tim it makes me feel at peace."
"How Sami?"
"It just does. Also I want to make a tribute video for Adam. Photos from when he was a baby til he died."
"Ok. I assume you just want to make it?"
"Yep but I need you guys to get every photo taken of him. Even the ones on your phones. Got it?'
"Ok but I'll need your phone to since you have photos of Adam on there."
"Ok here," I said handing Tim my phone.
*Later that Night*
I was laying in bed when Tim came home.
"Was the kids good for the babysitter?"
"Yep. Now come lay down with me."
Tim got changed quickly then laid down next to me.
"So are you sure about the tribute video?"
"Yes. No matter what I'm gonna make it."
"I'm glad your doing that."
"Why?"
"People would enjoy it and it'd be great for you to make."
"I'm glad you support me on this." I kissed him.
"Of course. Now you need to support me on this idea. We get married, but at the offices. With only our close friends."
"So everyone at the offices?"
"Yes."
"I'm fine with that."
"Good because I want it to happen next week. I can't wait any longer to marry you. I love you Sami."
"I love you too Tim."
