Chapter 13: Hope

~Sami's POV~
We pull up to the office to see paramedics pulling someone out of the office on a stretcher.
"NO NO NONONONO NO!" I ran over to them. When I got a look at who it was, I almost bursted into tears.
Everyone walked over to us.
"What happened to Tyler!?!?"
"Someone walked in with a gun. They shot Tyler and ran. Its like they only wanted to kill him. But he's not dead. He just lost a lot of blood. This isn't really a good thing to come back to after your honeymoon."
"No its not. I'm going with them."
I ran over to the ambulance and they asked me if I was going with him. I didn't say anything I just got in.
*At the hospital*
I was sitting in the waiting room with everyone else when the doctor came up.
"Is Sami here?"
I stood up.
"Come with me please."
I followed the doctor.
"The last few years haven't really been good for you guys has it?"
"Nope."
"Well good news is he's gonna survive. Bad news we need someone with the same blood type to donate blood."
"I have the same type of blood as him. I had to do this for him a few years ago."
"So that was you?"
"Yes. Ok then follow me."
*After Blood was Donated*
"Here. Drink this and eat this so you don't get light headed."
I sat there for a little bit and drank what the nurse gave me. The doctor came in and told me that Tyler was awake and was asking to see me. The doctor took me to Tyler's room. I walked in.
"Hey Tyler." I said trying to sound cheerful.
"Sami we need to talk."
"What's wrong?"
"The person that shot me is at the offices."
"The police did a check. No one was there."
"That's because the person that shot me is someone who works their. I barely saw the persons face but its either Barney, Ross, or Jerome."
"They would never do that. Their to nice."
"Well Jerome and Barney called in sick then all of a sudden their here at the hospital waiting. Barney's wearing his usual but Jerome was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans. Its one of those two. I swear."
"I'll check it out."
"Thank you. But be careful. We can't lose another boss."
"I'm not necessarily a boss. A boss would run the offices better."
"Your still pretty good at being one even tho I got hurt. You just need to figure out who did this."
"Like I said I will. I won't rest until I find out who did this."
*later that night*
I was standing in the bathroom brushing my hair and Tim was standing behind me.
"Tyler said someone at the office shot him."
"That's not possible. Everyone was at the office right?"
"Barney and Jerome weren't there. They both called in sick."
"I don't feel safe with our kids here if Jerome is being accused of shooting Tyler."
"I know. I don't either. But we haven't done anything to Jerome. Remember Tyler and the others all have a past."
"True but I still don't feel safe."
"I know." I said turning around to look at him.
"I love you Sami."
"I love you too."
"Did you finish the tribute?
"Yea. I just need to post it."
"Then post it."
"Ok ok calm down woman."
"Hey!"
I walked out of the bathroom laughing and I grabbed my laptop.
"Before I post this I want you yo watch it first."
Tim sat down next to me on the bed. I clicked play.
*After Tribute Video*
"Wow. That was amazing!"
"Thanks. I'll post it now."
"But its 10 at night."
"Doesn't matter. If the fans are still up they'll watch it. If not they'll see it tomorrow."
"What was the song called?"
"I Won't Let You Go by Rascal Flatts."
"It was the perfect song for the video and who was the girl at the of the video?"
"I don't know."
I had to lie to him about it.
"We should probably get to bed now. Goodnight I love you."
"I love you too."
Tim was passed out. I was about to pass out when someone covered my mouth.
"Don't scream. Be quiet and everything and everyone will be ok."
