"I saw her."

Was my first words when I entered his living room. In the world full of hiding, universe will always give you reasons to get flabbergasted.

"I TOLD YOU SHE'S IN MANHATTAN!"

"You don't need to shout, Man." I automatically get a drink. I need this.

Kailangang-kailangan. After what I saw earlier? I really need to forget everything that just happened. "So how is it?" He turned off the TV and faced me. We're in his cousin's apartment. We will just stay  here for 2 days and I've been to 7/11 to buy my cookies when I just helped up the person I was hiding from.

"How what?"

"You know, Maik--"

"Don't even mention her name." I cut him off. He just shrugged. "Why so affected?" He smiled mischievously, makes me annoyed. He's annoying way back then, though.

"Real, can you just drop that?" He prolly knew what I am talking about. He knew that I hate to talk about her and yet he keeps on opening it up. This man's kind of fixing it upper.

"Well, atleast just for now? Kahit ngayon lang, dude. Wag ka masyadong denial." He even reiterated the word, "Denial." Hindi ko talaga minsan maalala kung bakit naging magkaibigan kami, e.

"Okay, what do you want."

"What did you felt? But wait, what happened first?"

I sighed profoundly and told him what happened. "I'm about to get my cookies when I saw her. All those stuffs from her hand slid off and then I just happened to be a shitty gentleman so I helped her but damn it! I didn't know it was her."

"And?"He asked. He's so interested when it comes to her, sometimes I just want to brush his face off this planet. "And I was astounded when I saw her. She got up after and said thank you but then... we're both nailed up into where we were standing after seeing her, seeing me."

"Woah. Universe is just so freaking ubelievable. Or maybe you really like to be here since I already told you that they're in Manhattan. You know, she and her--"

"And the next thing that happened is passed by me and didn't even paid those cookies she was holding. She brought it back in one section and left." I said, interrupting him.

"How about you? What happened to you?"

"Of course, I was... a bit... shocked." He raised his eyebrow. "A bit?"

"Fine, I was blown away." Since that was the truth, why not admit it?
