Today was a good day. Mila was 2 months today.
Mila was such a happy baby, she was always smiling or laughing the only time she cries when she's hungry or needs a diaper change.
I never knew being a dad could make me so happy. Being with Ava and our daughter made me the most happiest man on the whole world.
"Aww Mommies baby is 2 months " Ava smiled picking up Mila who in returned laughed and started to kick her legs.
Ava looked at me smiling and I couldn't help but smile back.
"Look at Daddy Mila" she smiled.
Mila started laughing.
I started feeling bad when I had to go back to school a couple of weeks ago while Ava stayed home and watched our baby girl.
But one conversation with my girl and I was back to school with no problems, I just go and visit them between classes or I would FaceTime them.
"What's the smile for?" Ava asked.
I laid down beside her and put Mila on my chest.
"I can't smile at my girls" I laughed.
"Awe ain't you the sweetest" she smiled.
"AAHH!" Mila whined when she realize she was getting attention.
I laughed. "Okay Princess you got our attention".
She giggle her little baby giggle.
"Your favorite uncle has arrived!" Jace said as they all came barging in our room.
"Your her only uncle" Ava rolled her eyes.
"Don't destroy my moment".
She laughed.
"Hello little baby" Cali smiled taking her from me.
"So, what you two doing today?" Carter asked.
Every Wednesday, Ava and I would go on a date.
"We leaving at 8 and going to your restaurant".
"How's that going by the way?" Ava asked.
"It's going great" Cali smiled. "I just hired 3 more waiters and came up with some more ideas for the menu".
"My baby doing the damn thing" Jace said.
"Your so corny".
"Thanks for watching Mila tonight" I said to Carter.
"You don't have to thank me for watching my god daughter".
"Why can't we take Milly with us" Ava frowned. "We're only going to a restaurant".
"I know, but can't I have you alone for a little while".
She laughed. "Okay your paying".
