Ren's POV
"Wake up."
Manager gently shakes me as I lay in bed.
"Huh?"
"Come on! We have a busy schedule today."
"But we already practiced yesterday," I whine as I turn in bed.
"I know and you're going to practice some more. Now get up. Also wear jeans today. I don't care what shirt or shoes you wear. Go to the Dream room once done."
"Alright," I mumble as I roll out of bed.
Once I was done I walk out and bump into Ten.
"Yo."
"Oh! Yo.." he's voice trails off and avoids eye contact with me.
"Sleep well?" I try to start a conversation.
"Umm yeah."
Awkward silence falls between us until my unit appears.
"Let's go lovebirds~"
"We're not in love."
"Oh you may say that but-" Donghyuck gets cut off by Ten.
"Let's go guys! We don't want Manager to be mad at us!" Before any of us can say anything Ten dashes off and leaves us behind.
"I hope he knows that it obvious he likes you," Jaemin says.
"Be honest Ren, how do you feel about Ten?"
"I like Ten, but not like boyfriend."
"So more like bro?"
"Yeah."
"Oh it's bro but it'll be boyfriend soon." Donghyuck does a lovey-dovey face.
"Whatever man!"
"If you weren't a Rookie and Ten wasn't a Rookie, would you consider dating than?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I am the daughter of a CEO. I would be too busy to date."
"Oh yeah I forgot you're the daughter of Morimoto. Make sense."
"Yeah," I say sarcastically at Donghyuck.
"You seem pretty chill with it. How's Ten taking it?"
"He's been avoiding me and never comes to my room anymore."
"Honestly Ren, and don't punch me, but I think you two would make a cute couple."
"That's what everyone been saying and it's getting annoying!"
"But it's true!"
"And it's as true as Kork(KoeunxMark)!"
"Yah!" Me and the other guys laugh at Mark's reaction.
"Anyway enough about that. Did you talk to Manager about NCT," Mark asks trying to avoid the subject.
"Oh yeah. He said I would be debuting with the rest of you."
"Even though you're a girl?"
"Yeah apparently most of the fans already take me as a guy."
"I've seen many articles, memes, and polls regarding to Ren's gender. Many think she's a boy."
"I bet we're going to have some homo and shipping problems when we debut."
Jaemin joins in on the jokes, "Are you by any chance gay already?"
