Alkira's pov-

I do not know what will happen today. But I had my fingers crossed hoping that everything will work out the way it is supposed to be. I have waited for this day with bated breath and now here it is. I had not wanted to involve the pack because it was personal but they disagreed. They said that getting rid of scum like him is doing service to wolf-kind. It is a noble cause.

We reached the woods near the cafe. The woods are neutral ground and across them is his territory. My wolf is restless and I know that I am too. I just want the plan to go without a hitch.

"Are you ready?" Ana whispered.

"Yes, Ana. I am". That came out a little out of breath.

"Don't worry about it. We will be watching you from a distance. If he even breathes the wrong way around you. God help me. I will strangle him with my bare hands. Then I will chop his balls into pieces and feed him to the wolves."

"Ana!! Spare me the details. But really, wolves! How original." I said with a slight smile in my voice.

"At least it got a smile from you."

"Where are the guys?"

"They should be here in a minute."

"OK."

"Alpha."

We both turned and looked towards them.

"No. For a while, I am not your Alpha, just a regular wolf."

"Zack, Ben, Beth, and Crista, you will fight with me. Remember that it should look like a real fight. When he approaches me you have to run away cursing me heavily making it look like you got afraid of his Alpha position. The story you will be telling if asked, is that I overheard your plan of attacking some pack. You ran after me and got me cornered here. Clear."

"Clear."

"Now, Xavier, James, Ana, Derek, and Daimen you will be watching us from a distance. Stay hidden until I say otherwise. When he will take me to his place, only two from your lot will be staying near his house at night, and the rest of you will head home to our packhouse. Then, in the morning, the two who stayed in the night will knock on his door and will ask about me saying that I am a member of your pack and got separated while heading to our pack last night. We will leave without giving too much information. Maintain a safe distance from the house so that they could not pick up your scent from the night. And take this it will mask your scent."

"But what if something went wrong?"

"Then do what you think is right, Crista. I think I have trained you all enough for unexpected situations. Don't act without thinking."

"We won't let you down alp... Alkira."

"Good. Now-"

I stopped mid-sentence. He is here. I can feel his presence. We need to start our plan.

"He is here. Go and take your positions."

They all nodded and went their way. I looked at my warriors. I can tell they were nervous. They felt wrong to hit their alpha. But it needed to be done.

I know that his wolf is aware of the presence of my wolf due to our bond. But I also know that he will not acknowledge my existence without some proof, to him I am dead, gone for good.

The smell of my blood will drive his wolf crazy and feeling his wolf's restlessness he has to come looking for the source. This is the best way to capture his attention without getting him suspicious of my sudden comeback.
