morning.

I wake up. It's 8:23

Everyone else is asleep I think.

I walk upstairs and grab a box of Fruit Loops and start eating them out of the bag.

I hear footsteps walking from the basement and I just hope that it's not Jacob.

It's Olivia.

Thank god.

" good morning..' i mumble.

" good morning brooklynn." olivia says very loud.

I give her a look basically saying like ' OH MY GAWD YOU'RE SO LOUD!! SHUSH!!!'

She understands and says, "oh sorry.." and giggles.

Olivia grabs a box of Cookie Crisp cereal and we both head downstairs.

More people wake up. Including Jacob.

He opens his eyes and looks around.

Probably looking for me. Yay.

His eyes find me and he whispers, " hi brook."

" hey..?" I say back.

He motions me to come to him.

I roll my eyes and get up.

Jacobs laying on the floor with a blanket over him.

" what?" I whisper annoyed.

" oh nothing I just wanted you to come over here."

" seriously?"

Jacob just smiles at me. I love his smile...wait... i like his smile....a little...a lot actually.

I don't know how I feel anymore.
But I know that I'm drifting away from Ethan and closer to Jacob.
{which kinda upsets me}

I sit criss-cross applesauce (im so sorry😹)
next to Jacob while he lays on the ground.

I eat Fruit Loops and occasionally throw them into Jacobs mouth.
I throw them at his face on purpose a couple of times and laugh at him.

Time flies by and suddenly it's 10:16.

I get a text from my mom.

Mom: good morning brook! Make sure sure your home before noon. Your flights at 2:30 but we're leaving to the airport at 2:00.          Love you!❤️

I go change into black leggings and a sweatshirt. I brush my teeth and then comb through my hair.

I hang out with Olivia for a while and I start to get bored.

Now it's 11:27.

I guess I could leave a little early.

I grab my stuff that consists of my charger, phone, clothes, and my contact case.

I say my goodbyes and give hugs.
Jacob walks up to me and opens his arms for a hug.
I stare at him for a moment... but i give in and hug him.

"Make sure you text me everyday." He says into my shoulder.

" you know it." I pull away and leave.

I turn around when I open the door.

He's smiling.

I do the same.
