Chapter 1 - Him

So I finally turned 18 only 5 days ago. I haven't been doing much lately since I finished my last year of college a day before my birthday.  I've Just been worrying about finding my mate, I'm the daughter of Daniel McKenzie Alpha of The Golden Sun Pack. Finding my mate means I will have to move away from my pack and live with him.

I don't want that I enjoy being in control and free to make my own decisions, my mom says that every girl and boy goes through this stage but are happy once they find their mate.

I on the other hand don't believe this.

I haven't really had a real relationship before, I have dark brown hair with highlights and am 5ft4" my breast and ass are bigger than average, I'm also on the more curvy side, I'm not stick thin with a thigh gap. I have big thighs, a little stomach and yes I am insecure of it but I've learnt to be me.

The thought of being in a relationship has never appealed to me I just don't see the point if I'm honest I'm still a virgin never done anything only kissed 2 boys in my whole life and the were simple pecks nothing major it's just not a big deal to me.

It was a warm Saturday afternoon in Cali I was out for my daily jog but something didn't feel right I felt like I was being followed which is strange because this part of the woods is always empty, I'm always alone just how I like it.

I froze my body tensing I heard a twig snap, there was a smell in the air a mixture of vanilla and aftershave, my heart rate increased my hairs stood on edge, my inner wolf was howling and clawing trying to get free she could smell him, she wanted him, needed him.

Ria my inner wolf whimpered almost pleading to be let free, if I let her out she would run to him, no I didn't want him, I want to be alone.
He was getting closer I could feel it, I shifted into my white and black wolf but held back on giving Ria full control, I sprinted deeper and further into the forest trying to get away from him, whoever he is.

Suddenly I was knocked to the ground, I felt a huge weight on top of me and that smell I just can't describe what it does to me, it's him, I wriggled trying to get away but he just growled getting closer, I opened my eyes and my breathing hitched I was staring into stormy grey eyes that belonged to a black wolf, he was huge must be powerful, I wonder who he could be.

'Maybe he's an alpha?' Ria said
Frankly I don't care I just want him off of me
'He smells Devine the things I wanna'
Enough, I cut off her sentence knowing where it was leading to, i felt him shift on top of me back into his human form, he was naked, like naked naked I couldn't help my wandering eyes
Lawdd he was blessed, I looked back up to his face and noticed a smirk shit he caught me staring and the arrogant sexy ass was enjoying it, wait sexy?.

'Shift' his husky voice ended my thoughts.
Wait what shift as in change back into human form? He must be crazy, I would be naked underneath him not gonna happen. I scoffed and tried to move him off of me, guess he didn't like that, he growled lowly
'I said shift are you deaf or just stupid?'
Excuse me? Someone else around? He's definitely not speaking to me, who does he think he is.

I ignored him and tried moving again when I thought of something. I could see my bag near a tree it had my spare clothes in, if I distracted him long enough I could change and then it wouldn't be so awkward but he would still be naked.

I had the perfect idea I smiled to myself Ria didn't like my idea but it was the only thing I could think of, I nuzzled my head into his neck slowly licking it, I felt him loosen the grip and his weight slowly shifted, I flipped us around he didn't like that he snapped out of the trance but it was to late I ran to my bag and shifted quickly pulling on my black booty shorts and a black crop tee I had in my bag, once I was dressed I turned around colliding with a strong muscular chest, I looked up seeing an angry expression on his face.

'I told you It wasn't a good idea' Ria complained
'What the hell was that back there?' He yelled making me flinch
'What the fuck is your problem' I retorted getting frustrated,who does this guy think he is.
'Don't talk to me in that tone, I asked you to shift, what took you so long?' He questioned. 'I wasn't gonna shift there I would have been naked underneath you and anyway I don't have to do what you say, are you my dad? No so chill.'

Something flashed in his eyes as I said that, he took a step forward making me automatically move back, that smell mmmmm, no what am I saying I must have banged my head or something, I need to get away from him.

I quickly turned around running back the way I came, to be fair I'm quite quick I was on the track team from 7th grade till my last year, I could hear his footsteps behind me he was catching up and I could feel his anger. Ahh shiitake mushrooms what have I done, he's going to kill me, I'm actually going to die, Ria rolled her eyes and put her head on her paws.
I don't know what happened, one minute I'm running for my life the next I feel myself falling, I felt my head connect with the hard tree bark, my body tingled he must be close that's when I felt myself being lifted, the last thing I remember is a low growl 'Mine' and then it all went black.
