Chapter eight

- next morning -

Lucy's P.O.V.

I roll around on the bed and start groaning, slightly as I feel the sun light on my face. The light suddenly disappear, making me smile until I hear someone chuckle.

Lucy: " Huh?"

I say lowly as I flutter my eyes open and rub them softly. I then sit up, yawning quietly. Once I can see right I see Natsu standing infront of the window, next to my bed.

Natsu: " Morning."

Lucy: " Hey."

I smile at him and he returns mine with one of his stunning ones. He tosses me my bag with my keys and I quickly catch them.

Lucy: " We're leaving so soon??"

I thought we were going on the job tomorrow. I thought as I looked at my keys then at Natsu.

Natsu: " No, I just thought you'd like to practice a little."

Lucy: " Practice?"

Natsu: " Practice, as in train."

Lucy: " I know I'm not a Baka."

Natsu: " Are you sure about that?"

He mumbled high enough for me to hear him and I snap back at him.

Lucy: " Hey!"

He chuckles softly at me.

Natsu: " Get ready, we're leaving at 1pm."

Lucy: "Okay."

I get up and go to the bathroom. Once I'm in I close the door behind me. I take a shower, brush my teeth, put on some simple make up and put on a black skirt with a pink tank top. I then started doing my hair.

Suddenly someone starts knocking on the door. I sigh and stay quiet as I finish putting my hair in a half hair, side pony tail. The knocking continues but this time more harder. I then yell.

Lucy: " What!?"

Natsu: " Come on!"

Lucy: " I'm almost finished!"

Natsu: " You've been in there forever!"

Lucy: " No I haven't!"

Natsu: " Aye! You have!"

Lucy: " Just wait a second."

Natsu: " Fine..."

He saids as he lowers his voice and I smile, knowing I have won this battle. Suddenly I hear a door open and close.

Lucy: " Huh?"

I say as I tilt my head and open the bathroom door. I don't see Natsu. He's nowhere to be found. He left!!!! I thought as I put on my belt with my bag full of my keys and ran out.

I ran to the door and opened it, closing it quickly and running down the hallway. I can't believe he actually left! I told him to wait! I thought to myself as I continued running.

Lucy: " I'm gonna kill him..."

I say lowly as I ran. I then trip on something, I close my eyes ready to feel the pain but.... I feel... Nothing? Huh? I felt some strong arms hold me and when I open my eyes I saw Natsu.

Lucy: " A-Arigato..."

Natsu: " No problem."

He helps me get my balance back and stand straight. I then put my right hand on my hip and look at him mad.
