Jealous Chat

Summery - Marinette and Adrien has already revealed their identities at this point. They also started dating not so long after. But what happened when Nathaniel is trying to get closer to Marinette, while Marinette doesn't realize it.

Nathaniel POV

I paced around my room, "I should just confess my feelings. I CAN'T. Adrien is my friend. I also don't take away another man's girl.
I'll just confess...yea. I can't bundle up these feelings no more.

Marinette's POV

I woke up to the sudden outburst of my alarm clock.
"Marinette, wake up. Or else you'll be late for school again." I groaned at the thought of going to school.
Tikki rolled her eyes,"Or else you won't see Chat Noir/Adrien."
My body shot up.
Tikki giggled.
I ran to my closet and pulled out my clothes for the day.
Another day with my kitty.
I've been more happy ever since Chat Noir revealed and I revealed our identities to each other.
I would wake up every morning knowing I would be able to see my kitty
I looked over to see the time
Shit.

I ran inside the classroom. I glanced at Adrien too see his signature smirk. Alya shook her head at me with a smile. She knew I would be late.
I sat down in my seat
"Okay class, settle down now. On Friday will be our annual Fall Ball."
I kept we my excitement on the inside.
I heard Rose scream in excitement, while the boys were doing high fives.
I guess they all be a certain girl in mind.

After Class.

I placed my thinks in my bag. I saw Adrien run out the door. I blinked in confusion.
Usually he waits for me. But that wasn't the case.
He probably has something important to do.
Soon it was only me and Nathaniel left in the room. I told Alya earlier to go ahead with Nino. Since obviously they like each other.
I placed my bag over my shoulders.
I heard a finalist voice behind me, "MARINETTE! WAIT!"
I turned around to see Nathaniel in front of me.
"I-i...c-can you come to the park with me?"
"Sure."

Adrien's POV

I felt bad for leaving Marinette. I wanted to ask her to the dance, so I rushed to the nearest flower shop. The nearest one was by the park.
The line was long, but I finally got the most beautiful rose I ever lay eyes on.
I turned around to see Marinette and Nathaniel sitting next to each other.
HE BETTER NOT BE MAKING A MOVE ON MY PRINCESS.
I ran towards them. Marinette didn't notice my presence until I heard him say the words.
"I-i like you Marinette....as more than a friend."
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITB MY GIRLFRIEND?!" I shouted in anger.
"Adrien calm down."
"WHY ARE YOU EVEN WITH HIM!"
I saw tears forming around her eyes. I regretted that I shouted at her.
"I-i I'm sorry."
"N-no. J-just leave me alone." I watched Marinette walk away.
Nathaniel was already gone. I guess he took this chance as a getaway.

The past couple of days was hell.
When me and Marinette fought the akumatized people, she didn't show any emotion towards me.
She only ignored me, and would only talk to me to tell me what to do.
I tried apologizing at every chance I got.
Friday has finally arrived. I was still planing to go to the dance to support Nino.
I stared at the mirror. I had a black suit with a green tie.
I wanted to surprise Marinette at her house. I wanted her to come with me.
Soon I finally arrived in front of her family's bakery.
I held my fist. I knocked of the door.
I saw her mother answer the door.
"U-uh is Marinette here?" She stared at my confused.
"No. She just left with a boy, and Alya."
WHY IS SHE WITH NATHANIEL!
I ran towards my limo, and told my gorilla to step on it.

I got to the school. The school was surrounded by balloons and banners.
I would've admired the decoration, but I had a mission in mind.
I arrived at the dance floor. I don't see Nathaniel anywhere.
I saw everyone dancing besides Marinette, and Nathaniel.
The most beautiful girl caught my eye.
I saw Marinette....alone.
I ran up to her out of breath. She looks at me confused.
Here I go.
"Y-you look lovely tonight." I stuttered. I mentally facepalmed myself.
"Thank you."
I softly grabbed Marinette's hand, "Can we talk?" She nodded her head

I lead her to a classroom.
The air was stiff. I finally spoke up.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I yelled at you. I just can't take it when I see another guy besides me with you. I---" She placed her finger on my lips.
"I forgive you my kitty."
She removed her finger so I can speak.
"Do you know how bad I was freaking out when I found out you left to the dance with Nathaniel?"
She stared at me confused, "I didn't come here with Nathaniel. I can alone actually. I only came here to support Alya."
I felt sudden relief, but guilt.
I hold her into a embrace.
"I'm sorry that you had to go alone." I whispered into her ear.
"But at least my jealous kitty showed up."
I blush, "Jealous kitty?"
"Yes. But I like it, because it shows that you love me." She giggled.
"I've always loved you."
"I know that, but I just love the protective side of you."
"Oh really? I have another side you might like. It's called predator and prey."
"I think I might like that my jealous kitty."
