Part 15

Third person's POV

As the morning turned to noon, Sasuke was going to visit Chisuke in her School when he noticed that there was something going on in town. He decided to go to Chisuke first before going to check it out. To his surprise, he is now witnessing a certain redhead in front of Chisuke. The child was looking very happy as the man patted her head and gave her a small gift.

Chisuke's POV

I am getting ready because today my papa is coming. I wore a dress that my mom bought for me for the occasion. I took the locket that Sasuke-san and I bought before. I heard a knock on the door and I was certain that Sasuke-san was here. My mama told me that he will be the one to send and pick me up from school and I was happy at the idea that I now have more people I can count on.

"Sasuke-san! Good morning! How do I look?" I interrupted my mama and Sasuke-san's conversation because I was dying to know how I looked in a man's eyes,

"Great... You ready?" he asked me,

"Yes! Let's go!!" I said as I grabbed on to him and dragged him, I can't wait for papa to arrive... I wish he would be here this instant,

"Take care, Chisuke and good luck at school!" Mama said as she sees us off,

I waited whole morning for a certain indication that papa was here, until the bell suddenly rang which only indicated lunch break. I was out in the playground as I waited patiently for the time to pass, my hand on my pocket as I feel the gift I will give to him,

Suddenly, I saw a familiar silhouette in front of the gates, my eyes curiously went to that direction and without any delay I ran towards that silhouette. Papa is here. I hugged him on his legs covering my face in his familiar fragrance of the man who I consider as my father; I looked up and smiled at him with joy,

"Chisuke... you've grown," He said,

"Papa, I've been a good girl here..." I said to make him proud,

"Is that so? That's my Chisuke... here, this is for your hard work," he said as he handed me a small blue box with a red ribbon. I wasn't curious at all for his gift because he always gave something that I like, and so, I reached out to my pocket and gave him my gift. He took it from my hand and saw the locket; he opened it and smiled at what he saw,

"Chisuke... Thank you... This is far most beautiful gift you have given me," He said, I'm so glad that papa liked my gift.

"Gaara?" a familiar voice suddenly said, Papa and I looked at the direction of the voice and I saw Sasuke-san looking fiercely at Papa,

"Sasuke-kun, It's been a while... I see that you are doing well..." Papa said,

"Yeah... I'm surprise to see you here... Is there something you need from the Hokage?" Sasuke-san asked, as the conversation took place I felt the atmosphere getting heavy,

"I heard that you are engaged to Sakura... I'd like to congratulate you," Papa answered,

"That's a small matter... Surely there is a more important reason for your sudden visit?" Sasuke-san asked,

"This wasn't at all sudden... I already planned to come here in about few days ago... I also informed the hokage about this visit," Papa answered,

"What's so important that made you come here then?" Sasuke-san asked,

"Why? Do you think that I won't come here for personal issues?" Gaara said,

"Personal issues? like what?" Sasuke-san said,

"You know, like asking for a woman's hand? Papa said, and I noticed that Sasuke-san was starting to get annoyed,

"Papa?" I said as I grabbed onto Papa's sleeve to notice me,

"Ohh... I might have forgotten to introduce to you, Sasuke-kun..." Papa said as he lifted me up to his arms, "... My daughter, Chisuke..." He added,

Sasuke-san's eyes widen as if he was shocked by what Papa said,

"What seems to be the problem Sasuke-san? Surely, you knew about this..." Papa said,

"No... I didn't..." Sasuke-san answered honestly.

Why is papa and Sasuke-san having this kind of conversation? Do they hate each other? Have they got grudges against each other? ...

I said to myself for I didn't understand the situation itself.
