The art of putting your hair in a bun.

At one pointe or another every ballerina needs to learn how to put her hair in a bun.  This very necessary skill requires a couple of things.  A hairbrush, hairband, Bobby pins a net and last but certainly not least, patience.
Unless you have been putting your hair up into a bun for a decade I doubt that you will get your hair into the perfect bun on the first try.  Or the second and somedays when your hair is not behaving you have to try four or five times.
Now, I am not talking about a messy bun.  I am talking about a bun of medium height  with no major bumps or pieces of hair not in the bun.  Now, for flyways I will use hairspray to tame them but seriously, putting your hair  in a ballet bun is not easy.
Lately I have had a issue.  On Tuesdays I get out of school about 3:25 and I have to be at ballet at 4:00.  So this means I have to do a bun in the car.  Let me just say that I am really starting to hate left and right turns.   It's not impossible to put my hair in a bun in the car but it's no walk in the park either.
