Here is the next chapter!

Enjoy!

*Just so you know, what happened last chapter was the day that Julie and Caitlin got to Liz's house, a little before this chapter takes place*

Liz's P.O.V

Both Julie and Caitlin were in the process of unpacking when we were called to dinner. We had some music playing as they were unpacking so I quickly paused it. I climbed off my bed and opened my door, stepping aside to let the girls go out first. Julie walked passed me without a word and Caitlin nodded as a thank you. I closed the door behind me and followed them down the hall to the stairs.

I could hear my parents talking and Kacey laughing from downstairs. I smiled as I walked down the steps and into the living room. Since there were so many windows outside I could see the pouring rain and rough waves from outside. The lights kept flickering and I had a bad feeling that we would lose power.

"Oh hi girls. You ready to eat?" Mom said.

"Yeah, I'm starved." Caitlin said, sitting down at the kitchen table. I sat down next to her and Julie sat down next to me. Opposite of us sat my brother and sister and then at the head of the table were my parents.

"Well I hope you girls like fish, that's all we seem to eat around here." Mom said, giving my father a pointed look.

"It's fine, it smells really good." Caitlin said.

My mom smiled at her compliment as she sat down in her seat, grabbing the bowl of broccoli. Caitlin looked over to me and for a second I was confused, that was before I realized that she was asking if she could take something to eat. I nodded my head and she smiled before taking the plate of fish that was in front of her. Once she was down with the plate she passed it on to me. I took a piece before giving it to Julie, who quietly thanked me. She was a quiet girl, though I felt like it wasn't because she was shy, but because she didn't want to be here.

"We haven't properly met yet, but I'm Toby. I'm Lizzie's older brother. I probably won't be spending too much time around here since I'm working a lot, but I'll be sure to embarrass her enough in front of you." Toby said. I sent him a glare as he laughed and winked at me.

"I'm Kacey. We can play Barbie's if you want. I have a dream house you can use and sometimes Lizzie plays with me. I have a Ken doll tha-"

"Kacey honey, they aren't kids. They are here to work on their music, not play." Mom said.

Caitlin had a smile on her face as she took a sip of water, probably trying to keep herself from laughing. Julie was trying hard not to laugh too and I found myself wanting to laugh at my little sister too. Kacey huffed and stabbed her fish with her fork. "I just wanted to make new friends." She said.

"Aw Kacey, we can be best friends. We can go swimming sometime and I'll even watch some movies with you." Caitlin said. Kacey's face brightened and she smiled, nodding her head. My mom sent Caitlin a smile and mouthed 'thank you' to her. Caitlin just nodded.

"So girls, any idea of names for your band?"

Natalie: GIRL CHECK TWITTER OMG I THINK NANNAH IS OVER!

My eyes widened as I read the message from Natalie. I quickly left our conversation and went onto my Twitter account. My entire timeline was full of pictures of Niall leaving his flat with a bag packed. He obviously looked upset and from the way the pictures were, it was from a few hours ago. I felt so terrible for him. I've never liked her, nor have I liked them together, but I respected it. But he must be going through  though time. I quickly pressed the tweet button and started up a tweet, but I know that he won't ever see it.

@Liz_Johnston: @NiallOfficial I'm sorry to hear about the trouble w Hannah. Hope you feel better soon!! Just know that I'm available ;) xx

I then excited the app and answered her text, saying that I thanked God for this. Once the message sent I went into Tumblr to post about it. I had a great deal of followers, I think it was because of that fan fiction I wrote this past spring, but I'm not sure. Either way, I had a lot of people following my blog and even on Twitter.

After posting about the Nannah breakup and asking if it were true, I left the app and locked my phone to set it on the side. It was approaching nine o'clock and the girls were settling down for bed. I was already dressed in my pajamas, fluffy pants and a tank top to match. Caitlin was sitting on her mattress, trying to braid her hair. She was dressed in cotton shorts and a loose tee shirt. Julie was on her mattress, playing on her phone.

Caitlin huffed and released the hair she was holding. "Do any of you two know how to French braid hair? I can do it, just not on myself." She asked.

"I can do it." I said, "My mom taught me a few years back." I said.

"Can you do mine then? I want it to be curly tomorrow." She said.

"Yeah, come sit." I said, patting the spot in front of me. Caitlin smiled and stood up, coming over to sit by me. She gave me her brush and sat down in front of me. I got up on my knees to be able to see clearly. Her hair was still wet from the shower she took earlier, so it was really smooth when I brushed through it.

"Your hair is really pretty, when did you start dying it?" I asked, parting the top of her hair into three sections.

"The beginning of this year, about the time when I dropped out of school. My mom flipped." Caitlin said.

"Why?" I asked.

Caitlin shrugged. "I don't know. She's always wanted me to be like her but I'm more like my dad. They're divorced, which is why she really wants me to be like her."

"Oh, I'm sorry." I frowned. I could never imagine my parents being divorced. They love each other so much, it was adorable. I wanted a marriage just like theirs.

"Don't be, it was better that way. I don't really like my mom." She said, wincing as I pulled her hair a bit too tight.

"Sorry," I said, "And sorry about your mom too."

Caitlin shook her head slightly, not saying anything for a few good seconds. "I like your parents. I haven't seen them interact with each other much, but they seem like a nice couple." She said.

"Yeah, they are. They have the love that I only dream of." I said, beginning to end the braid. I took the hair tie that she held up and started wrapping it around the ends of her hair.

"Never had a boyfriend?" She asked.

"I'm done, and no, I've had a couple. Nothing too important. My last boyfriend was the summer before my senior year and his name was Kevin. He was a nice guy and I thought I was in love with him, but he went away for college and we had to break up. But I've never been in love. What about you?" I asked. Caitlin turned around to face me, sitting crisscross. I copied her actions so that we were eye level.

"Kind of, I don't really know. I have a best friend back home and I like him a lot, but I'm not sure." She shrugged.

"Aw, that's cute. Did anything ever happen?" I asked.

"No, and I don't think anything ever will. I think he just sees me as a friend. But that's okay, I'm sure that I'll fall in love eventually." Caitlin said.

"What about you Julie, have you ever been in love?" I asked, looking towards the brown haired girl. I felt the need to include her in the conversation, I didn't want to make her feel left out.

"No." Julie said, not bothering to say anything else. I looked over at Caitlin, who looked back at me with her eyebrows raised in a way that told me it was pointless. I sighed and nodded, knowing that there really wasn't anything else that we could do.
