Julie's P.O.V

"That's disgusting." I whispered to Liz, who was leaning against me. Liz looked up from the phone that she was playing with and looked over towards Caitlin and Marty, who were talking by the door. Caitlin was giggling like a school girl while twirling a piece of that pink red hair she had. Liz shrugged, saying that she thought it was cute. "No way, that's so gross. Look! They are kissing." I said.

"Stop acting like a jealous ex girlfriend." Liz laughed quietly, still on her phone. I looked over, wondering why she was so obsessed with it. I rolled my eyes when I saw that she was on Instagram, looking at pictures of Louis Tomlinson.

"Then you stop obsessing over a band." I said.

"It's not obsessing, it's a lifestyle." Liz said. I rolled my eyes and then closed them, letting out a breath of air. I needed to calm the nerves that I was feeling for tonight's results show. It started in just a few minutes and I knew that we were going to be called soon. I was incredibly nervous. We were going to find out if we made the final three. Three go home and three stay. Everything that I've worked for leads up to this moment. I feel confident that we'll get through, but everyone has doubt sometimes.

Not to mention that if we do get through, we'll be working with One Direction. I've never been one for boy bands, I just couldn't get into it. But I know how much Liz loves them. Liz loves them more than I love the color black, and that's saying something. She's my best friend, the annoying sister I've never wanted, and I want her to have this. I want her to meet the boy band that's changed her life and I want her to do something really embarrassing in front of them.

"All contestants to the stage, all contestants to the stage." Mark spoke over the intercom. I opened my eyes and licked my lips, tasting the lipstick that adorned them. Liz stood up from the couch and gave her phone to Gale, then coming back over to me. She reached out her hands and when I put mine in hers, she pulled me to my feet. My dress fell to the floor and I rubbed my hands over the gold sequins.

"I'm so nervous." Liz said, looking up at me with her big blue eyes. Typically, I have a tough exterior. I can say no to just about anyone, but not with Liz. I have no idea why, but that innocent face of hers gets me every time. In the beginning I did find her annoying, but now I love her more than anything else in the world, as well as Caitlin. However Caitlin can be a real big bitch sometimes and Liz is never, so it's easier to fall under Liz's charm.

"Don't worry," I said, wrapping my arms around the older girl, "We're going to get through and we'll meet One Direction and win the competition. But come on, let's get Cait and head towards the stage."

"...And we're back. We've just seen Kesha perform her new single, and we've had to say goodbye to two of our loved ones here, Grace Tenner goes and Denise Richardson. Though we've got four more acts to go through, so let's get going." Khloe said.

I felt Caitlin reach down and grab my hand, squeezing it tightly. I reached across the short distance to grab Liz's hand, taking it in mine. I let out a breathe of air as Khloe began to speak. "And the next contestant through is... Evan Peterson!" Khloe said.

The blond haired blue eyed man jumped up a little and turned around, hugging his mentor, Brittany. He quickly walked off stage, not without squeezing Liz's arm in encouragement. Caitlin squeezed my hand and I was tempted to roll my eyes. Caitlin was convinced that they were going to hook up, but I don't think that we will. I did talk to him about her, but Liz is Liz, my clueless friend.
