The Beginning

There once was a girl

With a heart so clean

She smiled and laughed

Always carefree

Then something happened

And the little girl broke

When she tried to smile

Instead she choked

Into darkness

The little girl fled

There she screamed and

Scratched and bled

She no longer cared

 What others thought

She was always angry

At the world she fought

She started lying

Said she was fine

But on her wrist

Appeared beautiful lies

She started longing

To take out her knife

Soon stopped caring

About her life

She never let

Anyone see her cry

Never said that

She wanted to die

But you could find

It in her eyes

If you could only look past

Her empty lies

It got harder  and

Harder to hide

A constant struggle

To keep her alive

Soon she was nothing

But a lifeless shell

She opened her window

And then she fell

Every step was a word

Stairs to her death

Every bitter thing said

A gasp of her limited breath

They find her body

Hear her cries

Bleeding from her wrists

Limitless lies

Read her story

In blood it's told

She went to the blade

When the world turned cold

And now tonight

Shes in the stars

She shines brighter

Because of her scars
