Jess

"I'm going to miss you but this has to be over" I wipe my tears away as I pack the last things in the uber that was taking me to the airport

"Jess please don't do this," Jack says

"Jack I have to, it's just not going to work," I shake my head closing the trunk

"Jess," he whispers

"I'm gonna be in New York, you'll be here and you'll be traveling. I can't even handle you being away for a week without worrying Jack! How am I gonna handle not seeing each other for months at a time," I asked

"What about fucking forever and always Jess? Huh? Everyday! Everyday wether we saw each other or not we would say that! I guess that never mattered to you? Did it? " He was starting to get angry

"Of course it did but what about my future Jack? What happened to 'whatever happens I'll support you?' What happened to 'You have an amazing voice and should pursue your dreams?' Because this right here doesn't really seem like support!" I yelled back

"What about everything we've been through! All the fights, the make ups, Ariel? I thought we have something special!" He lowered his voice

"We do," I said walking closer to him, cupping his cheeks in my hands "We do, I love you too much for you to go through this. This is why I'm letting you go," a tear rolled down my cheek

"Baby please don't go," he whispered a tear rolling down his own face

"I love you Jack," I kissed his lips hard and he picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his torso. We stood there for what seemed like eternity

"I will always love you Jess. Forever and always," he kissed my forehead

"Forever and always," I said letting go of his hug

The uber driver beeped.

"I love you Jess!" he says softly putting a piece of hair behind my ear

"I love you too Jack,"

Little did i know that would be the last time I would see him, till 5 years later
