"Does any of you know the logic in mathematics?" Ethan asked the class
The room became silent as if there was no one inside. No one wants to answer his question.
Everyone are nervous whenever Ethan asks questions about a topic students can't answer it correctly because Ethan asks difficult questions. When he is not satisfied with the answer...he'll give the student a failing mark.
That's how Ethan teaches the students, he is a hot and handsome guy yet every student wants to strangle him.
"Miss Ford" He called my last name, I stood up and answered his question
"Thank you, Miss Ford," He said and I sat down.
"Okay, class next meeting we will be having our quiz, I want you all to be prepared. You may now take your break" He said as the bell rang
As Ethan left the classroom, Althea approached me
"Let's go, babe, I'm very hungry my brain can't even process the words of Mr. Montecarlo" Althea said as I fixed my things
"You go first, I have to fix my things. Save me a seat" I said and she nodded
When I finished tidying up, I stood up and left the classroom.
"Miss Ford" A familiar voice called me as I walked past the restroom
I turned around and it was my husband
"What time will you come home?" He asked as I approached him
"Maybe around 4:30, I have some errands to do with Althea. Why?" I stated. Ethan never asked when or what time will I come home, hmm this is new
After class, Althea and I planned to buy some supplies for the project that we will be doing.
"I see, be careful when driving Miss Ford." He said and left
I went inside the cafeteria, searching for Althea.
"Here babe!" She called and I went to our table
"Ethan is really something," I said as I sat down
"Why? What happened" She asked as she took a bite with her sandwich
"When we were at our house, he's very cold and mean but awhile ago he asked me what time will I come home. He's being hot and cold lately" I said and took a sip in my iced coffee
"Vebs malay mo nag aalala lang sayo yun, asawa mo padin naman siya." Sabi niya at sumubo ng ice cream
"Sa papel. Asawa niya lang ako sa papel pero di naman niya ko mahal." I said and she just shrugged
Nang matapos kaming kumain ay dumeretso na kami sa supplies store para bumili ng mga kakailanganin naming materials para sa proyekto namin.
"Illustration...markers...chalk vebs ano pa?" She asked habang nag checheck ng mga materials na nasa cart namin
"Popsicle sticks tsaka styro ball nalang" sabi ko
When we finished our errands, we decided to eat snacks
"Ayun sa tuhog nalang vebs mas masarap pa" She said while pointing at the vendor
Mag aalas singco na nang makauwi ako, hirap akong buksan ang pintuan dahil sa mga materials na dala dala ko kaya nag doorbell nalamang ako.
Gulat akong si Ethan ang nag bukas para saakin kaya napangiti nalamang ako sakanya at pumasok na nang tuluyan sa loob ng bahay.
"What happened to 4:30?" He asked, arms are crossed
"I was stuck in the traffic at napasarap ang usapan namin ni Althea. Sorry" I said at hahakbang na sana paakyat kaso tinawag niya ako ulit
"Did you already eat dinner?" He asked
"Oh right I haven't had my dinner yet, don't worry I'll cook for myself. I'll just get dressed." I said at dumeretso na sa kwarto
Nang makababa na ko ay naabutan kong wala na si Ethan pero napansin ko na may lutong pagkain na sa lamesa. Bagong luto pa, si manang rosa kaya ang nagluto? O si Ethan? Impossibleng si Ethan diba?
Nang matapos akong kumain ay hinugasan ko na ang mga pinag kanan at umakyat na ulit upang simulan ang proyekto namin. Next week pa naman ang due pero simulan ko na ngayon para maagang makapag pasa. Ayoko kasi ng natatambakan ako ng gawain.
Nilalagyan ko ng hot glue ang styro ball para maidikit sa illustration board nang mamali ako ng lapag ng glue gun at napaso ang hita ko.
"Ahh! Pakshet ang init!" Sigaw ko
"Athena?" Si Ethan, nakita niya kong tinatakpan ang hita ko
"What happened?" He asked, looking very concerned
"Wala naman napaso lang ng glue gun." Sabi ko at lumabas naman siya ng kwarto
Hinipan hipan ko kung saan ang napaso, bumalik naman si Ethan na may dalang ice cubes, nilagay ni ito sa tela at nilagay sa napaso ko.
Ang lapit ng mukha ni Ethan sakin, totoo nga talagang guwapo ito at mabango pa. Athena! Shh!
I snapped back nang tinanong niya ko kung hindi na ba masyadong masakit, tumango lamang at binunot na ang saksakan ng glue gun at niligpit na ang mga materials. Tutuloy nalamang ito bukas.
"Thank you nga pala," I said feeling shy
"No worries, it's my duty." He simply said and went back to his room
